A new poll has found that Democrats and Republicans are neck and neck in the upcoming midterm elections, with Democrats citing gun violence as their number one concern even as the economy continues to tumble.
The Sienna College Research Institute poll, conducted on behalf of the New York Times between July 5 and 7 among 849 registered voters, found the race to control Congress is tight, with voters preferring Democrats to Republicans by just one percentage point, 41%-40%. Nineteen percent of respondents remain undecided.
However, among likely voters, the Times noted that 44% favored Republicans while 43% expressed support for Democrats in congressional races.

Polls are largely run by left wing organizations who simply cannot bring themselves to face any reality other than their own. They will simply not allow a possibility that a majority of people don’t see the world as they do.

This sort of poll has several purposes, none of them providing accurate data.
* Energize the Dem base that all is not lost.
* Discourage the Republican base.
* Attempt to get more ad dollars from the campaigns.
What does ‘slow witted’ have to do with a poll? Either you
are for or against, no slow, in between or maybe, let’s see.
The Trafalgar group is the most reliable pollster group out there so will wait to see what they have to say..in fact, in June they had the GOP leading by over 11 points
When do they run polls saying the Dems are being destroyed? The NY Times is such a source of truth.

Well, the 849 registered democrat voters I talked to all day the GOP is dead. Oh, and economy isn’t the biggest issue and neither is inflation or crime or open borders or gas prices or Covid restrictions. It’s the environment. Everyone agrees with everyone who is everyone that it is.

Because it’s always the same spiel. And just before the election they adjust their numbers slightly to gain some credibility. By why not do it sooner, up front? Perhaps it’s because they want to shape opinion and not reflect it.
