America's largest newspaper chain Gannett has instructed its newsrooms to scale back opinion pieces which are 'repelling readers' who do not want to be told what to do.
The newspaper chain owns the USA Today network which takes in hundreds of local newspapers in almost every state across the country.
At a recent editors committee meeting in April, editors said in a presentation: 'Readers don’t want us to tell them what to think.
'They don’t believe we have the expertise to tell anyone what to think on most issues.
Readers this week reacted to the news by telling the media company to hire 'writers that aren't left-wing activists.'

Nothing will get me to buy a newspaper again.
Anyone brainless enough to read any Gannett paper needs to be told to breathe, so don’t expect anything much to happen with this.

The editors said they had been losing reader subscriptions as a result of their perceived bias.
IOW, in the past 20 years USA Today has published one article that wasn't grossly insulting to conservatives -- and that writer will be fired.
They need to fire the left wing writers, editors, publishers en masse.
Any writer/editor that mentions “climate change”, “pride month”, “white racism”, “gun control”, or any other leftist dog whistles needs to be terminated on the spot.
Firing all bidet and bernie bros would be a good start.
Gannett must have entered the “Netflix Zone”, where a loss of subscribers, due to over-wokeness, suddenly reaches critical levels.
