Friday on CNN’s “At This Hour,” former Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) urged the GOP to “shun” the “conspiratorial fringe element of the party” if it wants to win elections moving forward.
Flake, who has long been vocal about his disdain for former President Donald Trump, emphasized that Republicans should break from Trump and his supporters like Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and instead turn to someone like former House Speaker Paul Ryan.

A lot of things in motion right now, Flake speaking out for the 100th time, Ryan speaking out against a “cult of personality in the party” at the RR library, Ms Cheney’s hysterics with Murkowski and Romney waiting in the wings to vote for the Jan 6th commission. Seems to me to be the beginning of a stepped up, coordinated messaging effort within the party to drive a wedge between Trump and his supporters. It’s amazing how stupid they are….
I saw the headlines and thought, who the hell is taking the clown Flake seriously then I saw it was CNN.

When he decided to not run for reelection, Flake’s approval rating *among Republicans* was from 23-27%.
The guy was in the Herpes Simplex wing of the Republican party, along with Mitt Romney.

Maybe Mr. (former Senator) Flake should try counting from 1 to 70,000,000 and when he’s done reconsider what the “fringe” of the GOP actually is. I’ll wait…..

Flake had close ties with Maricopa County Accessor Paul Peterson who is sitting in prison for human trafficking.. Most of his victims were from the Marshall Islands, where Flake often visited and bragged how much he loved it there.
