In his controversial new book on the 2020 election, Battle For The Soul: Inside the Democrats' Campaigns to Defeat Donald Trump. Edward-Isaac Dovere repeats a canard that has become something of a staple of Democratic mythology.
According to Dovere, in November 2020, then-president Barack Obama had a hard time making sense out of Hillary Clinton's loss "to a man he thought of as a moronic carnival barker." Dovere traced Obama's grudge against Donald Trump to the birth certificate issue.
Obama, writes Dovere, "would never forgive [Trump] for turning a fringe obsession with his birth certificate into an issue he'd had to address from the White House briefing room in 2011."
Dovere errs on several counts. Trump was not the one who turned the birth certificate into an issue. Obama was. Nor did Obama have to address the issue from the White House. He could have easily settled it in his attorney's office three years earlier. More importantly, perhaps, it was not the birth certificate that provoked Obama's wrath. It was Trump's ability to see Obama the same way Obama saw himself — as a fraud.
In the way of background, a week prior to the 2008 Democratic National Convention, attorney Philip Berg filed a federal suit in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania challenging Obama's constitutional eligibility to be president. A Democrat and former deputy attorney general for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Berg expected to be taken seriously. He wasn't. The media expressed zero interest in his suit.

What you had was a complicit press in bed with corrupt players - Perkins Coie (I had no idea at the time about this firm). I wonder how much involvement of foreign adversaries (via payoffs involving lots of money) or threats played a picture. That includes corruption by buying off of what should be adversaries. This has been perfected to an art form that is present today where even questioning anything by the corrupt players leads to censorship, condemnation and ridicule (which is the most brazen weapon to manipulate the people). Further, fostering phony charges to protect the uncovering of far worse things that were perpetrated by their side (Russia hoax to neutralize Trump and bury the failed Clinton e-mail investigation and spying by Obama administration, the 1st impeachment to bury the Ukrainian corruptions and try to pin corruption on Trump to name just a few - there are many more) is part of the playbook. Just whitewashing what should be devastating career ending scandals - Biden team being compromised by China with evidence that demands investigation (e.g. Hunter's laptop). I am afraid that things are much worse today. We are close to losing our country. Normally, things go back and forth and are self correcting. I am afraid that this may become impossible. I suspect that if things continue as they are, things will get so bad that people will get fed up but it will be too late to do anything. We are not there yet - but we are frightening close. The destruction of the true press and election fraud must be overcome. We cannot be complacent.
Birth location has little to do with Natural Born Citizen qualification for President of the US, as the Senate resolution declaring John McCain an NBC as both of his parents were American citizens at the time of his birth, and born ‘overseas’.
Time to pop this on Harris, if Trump is elected as House Speaker when the next round of elections comes up.

I guarantee 100% the last birth certificate he produced was fake.
There are a lot of YouTube videos showing how the layers have different formats, and giving other reasons why it is fake. Pretty much all of those are accurate.

No, it was printed up and embossed in Hawaii from the records and sent to the WH. From there they put it photoshop, fiddle a little (partial OCR), flattened the layers, exported, and posted that file on the internet.

If that story (first time I've heard of it is today) is true, and there was a record in Hawaii, and the record was printed, embossed and sent to the WH, then fine. I'll believe there was a fraudulent historical birth record in Hawaii although it's not the simplest explanation. But I won't believe that the document sent from Hawaii to the WH was not sent from Hawaii to the WH and instead forged inside the WH. That kind of nonsense is one step away from complete insanity.

The allegations of where he was born was the distraction: Canada, Kenya, or Mars. The Chinese Mars rover just unearthed a BC there. The issues of Indonesia, British Commonwealth, his father's citizenship, definition of natural born to include two citizen parents, and his fuzzy history were always relevant and still are (I certainly have missed some).
The allegation that a BC document was forged inside the WH is complete nonsense. It's important to know the difference between complete nonsense and the Constitution.
I care because I know a document was mailed or carried from Honolulu to the WH. There are certain facts that need to be acknowledged.
Did you see the document delivered to the White House?
Did you see what was in the document?
Did you learn that bit of information from the Lying Media?

I seem to remember that the official said that he was going to retrieve the BC and prove to all of us that it was legitimate. Then suddenly nothing happened.
At the time, there were stories that Obama had deep connections to the CIA, including that he worked undercover for them, possibly even in Pakistan. Now given what we know about the CIA, it seems quite feasible. There is trail here that leads somewhere!
Also don’t forget the Arizona Sheriff who put a team together to investigate the Obama BC. They concluded that it was a fake. The Sheriff was then persecuted, and put in jail with a phony charge.
