President Joe Biden says that Donald Trump should not receive intelligence briefings even though they typically have been given to previous former presidents.
In his first sit-down interview with a network since becoming president, Biden told CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell that he doesn’t think Trump should receive the briefings his “erratic behavior unrelated to the insurrection,” referring to the Jan. 6 siege on the Capitol.
“You’ve called him an existential threat. You’ve called him dangerous. You’ve called him reckless,” O”Donnell said at one point in the interview.
“Yeah, I have. And I believe it,” Biden said. O’Donnell then asked him what was his “worst fear if [Trump] continues to get these intelligence briefings.” “I’d rather not speculate out loud,” Biden said. “I just think that there is no need for him to have the– the intelligence briefings. What value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?”

To be honest, I find it peculiar that any former President would get briefed on this stuff. Although MAYBE they might be able to had some insight into previous conversations, etc. Especially private ones with other heads of state.

Yeah, it’s not like Biden is going to ask Trump for any advice. If another Republican candidate gets in office later, he can revoke the order and give Trump the briefings if he desired.
It’s probably for the best. Any intelligence briefings by Biden’s gang will probably be some black ops to entrap Trump into saying something they can later point to releasing classified information to charge him.
By that logic then no Ex-President should have any briefings. Cut them all off.
By the way was Joe still getting briefings when he out of office?
It came out that President Trump and Nazi Pelosi didn't speak again after her hissy fit in the White House. (almost a year and a half ago). The propaganda media keeps that story quiet because it clearly shows President Trump needed nothing from her.
I prefer Trump’s behavior to Biden’s inability to string one thought together.
