Good question, all they would need to do would be to ask Oklahoma Representative (R-2) Markwayne Mullin.
He was standing right there and saw the whole thing go down, and in fact has already run his mouth about it, once.

I was a dog handler, and my dog wouldn’t eat the crap. I heard the dogs liked the ham and lima beans.

The Ham and Eggs would be okay if you could heat it up.Easy answer, issue each man a bar of C4.

The authorities have had more than enough time to activate quartermaster units to feed and billet the troops. Why haven’t they? Because the "authorities" running this clown show hate them, the military, the National Guard, they hate them all. I know TX recalled their National Guard, and, didn't Maine do the same? Anyway, the States should recall their NG units immediately. I am so surprised that only 2 did after the open-air parking garage incident. Pull these guys and gals back home where they will be appreciated.

I heard the dogs liked the ham and lima beans. I f you made the mistake and tried to get rid of your Limas or Turkey loaf ration by giving it to the poor waifs begging, you had to get ready to duck for cover. They would throw the cans back at you with the intent to dent your skull.

He’s too busy kissing up to Xiden and congress, and stuffing his face with prime rib.

The Army stopped putting the 4-pack of cigarettes in C-rations sometime after 1973. When I went through basic, we had cigarettes in our C-rations, but a year or so later the cigarettes had been pulled from the existing cases of C-rations and none were put into new C-rats.

Shouldn’t this congress defend themselves with transexual troops?

In 1974 we had k-rations in the field that had three packs of Luckys, Camels, whathaveyou. People would swap them, sometimes for other brands, sometimes for desserts. Never heard of anyone selling them.

Meal, Ready to Eat: Three lies for the price of one! (Especially the dehydrated pork patty)One man's dehydrated slop is another man's culinary treasure. I LOVED the dehydrated pork patty. There was nothing like it anywhere. I just never re-hydrated the thing because I could sense it would be a mushy, diluted affair where the water would upset the delicate balance of salt and pork flavor notes, unenjoyable at any temperature. But as a pork-crispy treat, unbeatable. I miss 'em. I was active during the transition from C-rats to MREs. I miss the C-rats too.

Strange pallet I have. I couldn’t enjoy those, even if they came out of a gourmet restaurant.

This article is such nonsense and completely out of context. There was unlimited food for the troops in the library of congress and other locations within the perimeter. Just because some idiot E-3 sent a pic to his wife back home in Nebraska or whatever state he’s from doesn’t mean you should write a fictitious article about it.
