Lots of hand wringing, and lots of lying in the media right now.
Blah, blah , blah. If their anger had really been expressed most of the District of Corruption would have been burning down by now.

How was one of the most secure buildings in the world, on a day every single high-value VIP in Government was convening inside it, able to be breached by bearded hippies in MAGA hats?

My answer: Deep State let them in.
Today will be a day of infamy for all the sycophants of the communist takeover of our country. Talk about an insurgency.

At this point what difference does it make who stormed the Capitol. The genie is out of the bottle. This was coming sooner or later whether Trump was President or not. Let’s get it on.
The problem is that the left wing signaled rioting were acceptable forms of “protest” without consequence. Washington was burning in June — how many arrests? How many condemning “media” reports? Virtually zero.
This was the Democrats Reichstag fire and the invaders were the Marius van der Lubbes.
The rioters have just handed the Dems and the never Trumpers a huge political and PR victory, which makes me wonder who they really are. The burning of the Reichstag coms to mind.
“But no one gets to do what happened Wednesday. And no one should defend it or even attempt to excuse it under some guise of “Hey, this is what you get when people get really mad,” which was sadly the thrust of a Trump tweet as evening fell.”
Unless you are BLM/Antifa/Move-On/Occupy Wall Street, etc. Then the lefties, Hollyweirdos, and the media will cheer you on, and say things like “dissent is patriotic.”
Yesterday Patriots made me proud by storming that swamp called DC.
“Democrats launched an end run around state legislatures,”
You see, this kind of rhetoric is the problem. The euphemistic re-calibration of treason into some kind of political ploy that shouldn’t have happened, tsk-tsk-tsk.
Yesterday’s march was a response to a 4 year coup that has been waged on the people’s duly elected president and his ultimate ouster by those very same traitors who happened to “get it right” (more euphemism) the second time around.
I’m glad the author reminds us that the original issue still remains, regardless of yesterday’s actions.
And the people are still angry because they still feel that their reasonable request has been met with contempt, and they are responding the same way.
When I saw the photo of the protester sprawled in Pelosi’s office, showing his contempt for her, I was reminded of Pelosi sitting in front of the cameras and ostentatiously and contemptuously tearing up the SOTU, showing her contempt for Trump and all of his voters. Nothing was ever done about this, not even a motion of censure, let alone removal from the speakership (which she surely deserved for this stunt).
The Dems are reaping what they sowed. This does not excuse any violence from the protesters, but it is something that must be addressed, both by the political world and by the press, which have spent the last four years expressing their utter contempt for Trump and all of us “deplorables.”
Keep replies short please.
Oh the hypocrisy - this “was a riot, domestic terrorism” while all the other, far more violent and destructive incidents were all “mostly peaceful protests”...
Where was the violence? A few broken doors and windows? was anything burned? They entered a building. Criminal trespass is not violence.
Looks like Mark Davis has joined the bed-wetting club. My God, is there anyone in conservative punditry who isn’t a candy-ass?
There is a strong case to be made that if we accept the results of these fraudulent elections, there are going to be more of them.
I don't necessarily agree that storming the capitol is an effective response, but I understand why it happened. And hopefully, in the next few months a more effective plan to challenge those who are overtaking our government will emerge.
In my mind, the ones who are stealing the elections and putting in place officials who would destroy our nation are the real dangerous people. Those calling attention to it are not.
The only shame I see is the GOP getting on their knees and kowtowing to the left.
