Nolte: Bret Baier Deletes Tweet that Exposed Backlash Against Fox News

The Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier has deleted a tweet that proved the backlash against the disgraced cable news network has exploded.

“Join me + @marthamaccallum tonight 8pmET on @FoxNews”:

That’s it. That was all Baier tweeted. Nothing controversial. Nothing about the election. He didn’t try to defend his disgraced network’s indefensible decision to call Arizona early, a state that a week later is still too close to call.

the destructive attack on the only the friendly network for the last 25 years is insane.

I don't see how it can be denied that Fox has become a false friend in recent years. It's the backstabbing that most of us despise and it goes well beyond what happened on election day and the fact that Fox inexplicably hired a democrat to head up their decision desk. It's also the fact that Fox polls were consistently among the worse and almost certainly deliberately so in order to create a negative narrative for President Trump.

And of course let's not forget Chris Wallace's performance in the first debate and him getting a big "atta boy" afterwards by the bigwigs at Fox when he should have been sent to the doghouse instead. Or how about John Roberts repeatedly insisting that Trump hasn't rebuked white supremacy when he has on numerous occasions?

I could also mention how unbalanced the panels are when breaking political news is discussed, usually consisting of Chris Wallace, Juan Williams, Donna B, Martha M, and Dana Perino. If Fox were really "friendly" they would have someone like Gutfeld or Watters or Bongino there instead of Perino, who like most Bushies is lukewarm at best when it comes to Trump. Certainly not a good match up vs Juan or Donna.

Nope. The whole thing feels like a trojan horse operation where in-between the opinion shows they'll slip in every dagger they can to try to damage Trump. As great as most of the opinion shows are, they reach an already convinced audience. It's the straight news, particularly on big news days, that reaches an audience beyond hardcore conservatives and that is where the real damage is done.

Have you seen the NFL ratings? They are still in the toilet, people have other activities no matter how much they like football.

Disclaimer: I don't have TeeVee [cut the cable cord in 2005, and don't have broadcast TeeVee].

Faux was USED as part of the conspiracy against Trump. The Lefties running things actually believe that the Fox viewers are mouth-breathing idiots who will just fall in line if Daddy FauxNews tells them that Trump "lost".

They actually believe their own tweets about "MAGAts".

"Well, Daddy FauxNews says that Trump is gonna lose in a landslide. I guess it's true that he lost."

Faux was USED by the cabal against Trump.

It's sad but true that the left often takes over what were once respectable organizations, like Disney and Fox News (and many others), in order to further spread their corrupt ideology to an unsuspecting audience. A wolf in sheep's clothing type thing.

But mostly i think of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers movie where after a while the main character notices something is wrong and is like "gee, my father looks the same, the voice is the same and all...but somehow i get the feeling he's a completely different person on the inside!"

In Fox's case it was infiltrated by the likes of Paul Ryan and the Rupert boys (and their wives). They probably all gave themselves high fives on election night as mission accomplished.

How about taking it even further? The FOX Board of Directors with Paul Ryan & the way of liberal wives of the Murdocks. The fish first rots at the head!

The old man, Rupert Murdoch, sold the FNC to Disney and his two sons run it now.

What really must be understood though, is that the two sons' wives are big Lefties and Hillary supporters and like most wives they control their husbands.

They have made an overt decision to change FNC into CNN Part II.

The news anchors and show hosts have new marching orders and that is to push the narrative of the Left and dump on Trump.

Anybody who doesn't comply, will be fired or can leave but they all have non-compete clauses inter contracts so those who stay and don't like the new corporate policy, are doing so under duress.

I'm sure some are planning their escape but notice that when Bill O'Reilly left, he didn't surface again for some time. Eric Bolling hasn't surfaced again yet. All that are left are Hannity, Tucker, Laura, and Pirro. Lesser so, Watters and Gutfeld.

They can probably all survive without the money for a while but can they survive being out of the limelight for that long? And where would they go? What news channels are left?

Quit expecting that FNC will come back. They will not. Look what happened to The Drudge Report. They have gone to the dark side, never to return.

Facebook, YouTube and Twitter have all decided to heavily censor the conservative members. There is a big effort now on Facebook to leave and go to another platform that is more conservative friendly.

To quote a Bob Dylan classic, "The times they are a changin'....."

And that includes the Fox New Channel.

It’ll track more like the NFL with Free Republic. There’s an initial backlash and calls for boycott, and then after a week a slow trickle of viewers will go right back to watching FOX claiming they’re just watching the news, and they have to get their news somewhere.

Sadly, this is probably mostly true. Personally, I'm surprised that anyone on FR would still watch any professional sports any more (which includes college ball if we're being truthful about it). Unfortunately, there are plenty of folks willing to support those who spit on them.

And that’s why we can’t have nice things, self centered people.
Stopped football 4years ago, not one game incl. superbowls
done with my true passion, hockey. Actually stopped with FOX news back in 2007, not one minute, until March this year(no hockey on) and watched Tucker only, until last week .
