Sorry about the boating accident John. In reality, if I did have any firearms and if I bought some new ones, the only person that needs to know that is me. Obviously the dealer knows. But as a general rule, I don't share that info with anyone. I try not to share info freely about anything. That's like "How many guitars have you got?" None. How many do I "need"? All of them. :-)

Haven’t purchased yet, still trying to decide on a shotgun to go with the CZ 75 SP-01 I currently have. Trying to decide between the different variants of the Mossberg 590.

Right before your canoeing accident...of course.

Three...the exact number I bought in June...
To: AnotherUnixGeek
Make sure you pull the plug out of the 590. I like mine. If I had one that is. But I wouldn’t put the pistol grip on it if I had one.

I wonder how many of the 2.4 million were purchased by conservative-types?
How many were purchased by the antifa-blm goons??

Guns are black and scary.
I would never own one.
Maybe 20 or 30.
But never just one.
To: Cuttnhorse
They were largely purchased by Karen’s husband after she flipped out and changed her long standing irrational fear of them.
I saw it all day every day.

Beware the man who owns only one gun. He probably knows how to use it.

I’ve had an 8-shot, 18” non-A1 590 with ghost ring sights, and it was a good one. I got it for about $200 on consignment at my LGS 15 years ago.
Later on, I replaced the original stock and forend with Magpul furniture, which I think was an improvement, particularly with the shorter length of pull. I think they sell A1s now already wearing Magpul furniture and a sight rail, so if I was buying a new one, I’d probably go with that and maybe put an EOTech on it, although I think it’s a lot more expensive that what I bought. If you see something with regular furniture on the used market, you can sometimes get a Magpul set for a little more than $100 if you do some bargain hunting.

Right before your canoeing accident...of course. ****** Just fyi.. Guns Originally purchased new prior to 1968 are bringing a premium as no ATF FFL transaction record (form 4473) was required prior to that time. Thereby, these guns are off the grid so to speak. Usually, these guns show up at estate sales and such. Just saying... 😉

Antifa and BLM thugs don’t really purchase things.
They are more of the looting type.

Does anyone know if it is cheaper to buy ammo at Walmart or online?
To: rktman
The reality is that, when the SHTF many of those who are well equipped with arms and ammo will be fortunate to live long enough to go through all of their ammo.

The problem with buying online is the shipping costs.
Ammo is HEAVY!
