NSA Differed From CIA, Others on Russia Bounty Intelligence
WSJ ^ | June 30, 2020 | Gordon Lubold, Warren P. Strobel

Posted on 06/30/2020 7:17:02 PM PDT by Stravinsky

WASHINGTON—The National Security Agency strongly dissented from other intelligence agencies’ assessment that Russia paid bounties for the killing of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan, according to people familiar with the matter.

The disclosure of the dissent by the NSA, which specializes in electronic eavesdropping, comes as the White House has played down the revelations, saying that the information wasn’t verified and that intelligence officials didn’t agree on it.

The CIA is highly compromised by liberals and the NSA is full of metrosexuals. I would trust neither of them. Even the NRO has become political.

CIA (Clowns In America) = Derp State

NSA (No Such Agency) = Patriots

Find the leaker. Throw him in jail, forever.

the leaker feels immune like Hillary - when she’s caught tried convicted sentenced, the leaker will begin to sweat.

They have the base of the Democratic Party “chomping at the bit” to start WW3.

Eerily similar to 2016. The anarcocrat play book is short.

As another poster said, HUMINT vs SIGINT. But in DoDs case, it is paid HUMINT (CIA) vs willing HUMINT (DIA). CIA is a rewards based reporting system which is almost totally money focused, while DIA works on the rapport based system which entails building friendships and cultural knowledge.

Totally different systems almost always disagreeing with each other.

“...(No Such Agency) = Patriots”

Try (No Statutory Authority) = STASI

Being not as bad as some alphabet agencies doesn’t excuse their unconstitutional behavior.

You don't understand the game. And you're not alone.

The NSA is part of the DoD. DIA is mostly a consumer of raw intelligence data (i.e. Analytical Center) than a creator of raw intelligence data. The DIA only has the Military Attache Corp in Embassies, the DCS (look it up), an few other overt HUMINT programs as original intelligence sources. DIA depends on other entities (NSA, NGA, the Services and even CIA) to conduct analysis called finished intelligence. CIA’s own intelligence production arm does the same. The major national intel programs are generally split (there are other smaller technical ones as well); NSA(SIGINT is DoD), NGA (IMINT is DoD), CIA (premier HUMINT answers to POTUS). DoD owns two out of the three main intel programs and has a small HUMINT one (DIA’s DCS).

The DoD intel entities have military general officers in charge of them with a mixed civilian and military work force. The CIA has had general grade officers in charge from time to time, Petraeus being the last one.

Regards.

If they do find their balls and make arrests, I hope they go after the leaker’s handlers as well (Chuck Schumer, et al). Let’s get rid of all of them...

The NSA are not patriots. They illegally spy on Americans by collecting all our communications.

They loved Russia when it was communist. When they turned against homosexuality, started rebuilding churches the bolsheviks destroyed, and flipped the finger to the globalism project, etc... the Democrats started hating them with a passion.

They hate them as an apostate. The sad reality is that the true home of revolutionary communism is right here in the democrat party and our college students and professors.

Not at all. Those are all sidebar issues. Ultimately, Democrats love Russia because it is an anti-American force in the world. Hillary was planning another “reset” once elected and that is why the kenyan did not increase sanctions on them until after Trump won.

The game is geopolitics and it's bigger than you know. And you don't understand it. You are not alone.

Better to try to understand than to thank me.

I recommend it.

The Left ALWAYS accuses others of exactly that of which they themselves are guilty.

hate to say it...but it may be about to come out that indeed SOMEONE has been paying the Taliban for “bounties” on American soldiers....and it ain’t in reality gonna be Putin

There is no shame in your not understanding the game. However, you should listen to those who do.

Understanding takes expanding your thinking.
