This is in my neck of the woods. It's certainly not as bad as what's going on in the Twin Cities, Atlanta, Portland, and other places but I would say it's the worst I've seen out of any the Houston protests that I can remember.
Here's another story covering the police response and related injuries.
UPDATE: 100 to 150 arrests made in Houston protests, a few officers suffer minor injuries, Acevedo says https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2020/05/29/justice-4-george-floyd-protest-will-be-held-at-discovery-green-friday/

Our country is so screwed if people wimp out in this election and put a DEM in the White House.

LOL.
Hey, Houston, how is that liberalism you are so prod of working?
Verizon Store
The hilarious irony is not a single device lifted from the Verizon Store will ever work. They are all bricked by now.

Looks like Houston got locals, amateurs.
80% of those arrested in Minn. were from out of state. White Antifa disruptors were breaking windows and doors and then leaving while the locals looted.

This is one of the reasons our cities look like trash dumps.
In other countries they are tracked down and punished.

I’ll be the first to say that for the most part, I’m proud that citizens and law enforcement lessened the chaos and loss of other cities. Sylvester has said that you can protest/march in the City of Houston but you won’t burn or destroy. Same thing in the 60’s when Louie Welch and Chief Herman Short said the same thing. We had the incident at TSU and they tried to wreak havoc but it wasn’t successful....and one of the outsiders that came to town to stir up trouble was sent home in a box.

How many of these people were "grateful" when the white "Cajun Navy" saved them from the floods of Hurricane Harvey before Houston bought a fleet of high-water rescue vehicles?
