Six California school districts representing more than 900,000 students say the governor's proposed budget cuts will delay the reopening of schools.
Officials with the Los Angeles Unified, which is the second largest school district in the country with 600,000 students, joined with five other urban districts in a Monday letter to legislators, saying they need more money to safely reopen schools and not less. The other districts are Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, San Diego and Long Beach.
Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has proposed $14 billion in budget cuts because of the coronavirus, with more than half coming at the expense of public schools that have struggled to teach students remotely since mid-March, when he issued a statewide stay at home order.

no, the teachers are smart because they play the elect officials and get what they want. WE are dumb because we elect those officials.
A teacher I know says most teachers just post an assignment online in the morning and then call it a day. And support staff don’t do anything at all and get paid.

This outlaw RAT governor religiously pays an estimated $30 BILLION PER YEAR for his illegal voting army, to say nothing of the additional funds he willingly pays for homeless, drug addits and mental cases that are welcome in the SANCTUARY STATE of California. All this paid for by the tax payers. Yet he wants to take from schools? The normal Democrat mantra?

For the rats, its always the police, firemen, and the poor children. .....if we don’t cough up the money. ....these go first. .....it’s never any damn government “worker” or cut in waste spending like high speed trains. ....screw them.
