President Trump signaled Thursday that he would put off campaign rallies until the coronavirus outbreak subsides in the United States.
Asked about his plans for future campaign rallies, Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that his reelection campaign had decided against holding rallies in Nevada and elsewhere and that he was leaning towards cancelling plans to hold a rally in Tampa, Fla., later this month.
We have a big one in Tampa, all sold out, we had over 100,000 requests for tickets, but I think well probably not do it because people would say its better to not do, Trump said during a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.
We need a little separation until such time as this goes away. Its going to go away, Trump added.
The Trump campaign has not formally announced a rally in Tampa campaign officials typically wait until shortly before such events to formally announce them but the president said it had been planned for March 25.

Of course, Bloomers will fund the Dems and follow the President's lead.
President Trump is making the right decision not to hold his rallies.
But he will miss them greatly as will all who attend and all who watch.
Maybe some enterprising person in his re-election campaign staff can figure out a way to hold a virtual, online rally.
Smart move.
Fireside chat every day.
Id watch live White House podcasts.

I don’t need a rally-I’ll vote for Trump anyway
Sorry, Media. You won’t get to write the headline on how someone got sick and died because they attended a Trump rally.
The precedent has been set. Anyone having a gathering of more than 20 is going to heavily scrutinized.
Personally, based on data we have, I think strict social separation is a good idea.
Until somebody proves differently, in my mind, the Rats and the Deep State conspired to plant this virus to hurt Trump. Using THEIR standard, they need to prove themselves innocent.

And that’s a good thing. Instead, they’ll be writing about people spreading the virus across the country when they return from their spring break vacation and/or their visits to the theme parks like Disney, which I believe are still up and running.
Spring Breakers will have a lot more to fear from STDs than from coronavirus.
Open air football stadiums would be marginally helpful compared to indoor arenas.
Get some airflow.
The XFL would have the stage all to themselves.
In their situation they probably can’t resist that.
They are a single entity as opposed to having separate
owners. So the decision pretty much lies with Vince McMahon.
The market is very predictable if you assign the huge dips to the hugely funded shorting going on...every time it recovers, it goes back down...there is NO WAY that kind of selling negativity is still going on. The shorts are responsible.
This Corona is all but over, we’re into the 4th quarter.
Rally’s in 3 or 4 weeks latest.

Which makes my point. The young aren’t worried about the virus, so we have to worry about the young. Put another way, they have to be told their vacation plans have been cancelled, not for their health, but for the health of the entire population.
If we don’t do that, the odds of the medical system being overwhelmed increase significantly. It’s the common sense thing to do, and justified under the circumstances.
I think you are right, but it probably won’t climb back to 29k before the election
Maybe 26.
His supporters will go through rally withdrawal and his voter turn out will be enormous.
