Unlikely. He has orders to the Army War College.
Army War College is at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania, not Leavenworth. As a LTC, he has already completed Command and General Staff College, though I can’t determine if he went in residence, or did it by correspondence.
As with the other branches of the armed services, being selected for intermediate professional military education (PME), such as Command and Staff, identifies you as a fair-haired boy or girl. If you do it by correspondence (as I completed Air Command and Staff), you’re part of the great unwashed, still competitive for promotion, but definitely not in the fast lane.
As I posted earlier, Vindman’s best career move now is retirement.
I do not believe Trump can cashier Vindman on his own. And I don't see the Pentagon jumping to prosecute him.
Watch: Creepy Deranged Adam Schittforbrains will shortly announce a new article of impeachment against Trump because Vindman was kicked out of the NSC and the White House.
Because you know, Vindman is ENTITLED to be in the NSC in the White House!

You sound like you think anyone in power at the Pentagon has any liking or respect for Trump. They'll protect Vindman just because Trump wants him punished.
If he goes to the Pentagon, he could be one of the full-time light bulb changers. The Pentagon is the largest building in the U.S. They have two full-time light bulb changers, that’s what the Pentagon tour guide told us.
