Republican Utah Sen. Mitt Romney announced Friday that he will vote to hear from additional witnesses in the senate impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.
Romney had previously indicated that he wanted to hear from witnesses, including former National Security Adviser John Bolton, and his communications director Liz Johnson officially confirmed the senator’s intentions in a tweet Friday

It will be down to what Lisa Murkowski will do as Romney and Collins are now lost.
If Murkowski votes NO. We go to the final guilty/not guilty vote.
If Murkowski votes YES, it’s 50-50.
Not sure who can break the tie. I don’t think Pence is allowed to vote.
Worse comes to worst, we will be having the senate tied up for weeks with the circus.
Best case scenario — this circus will be over by week end.

This is going to end in Trump’s acquittal not matter what. The votes to acquittal are there. That not going to change. Bolton is documented fraudulent. He would be utterly destroyed on cross examination.
The calculation in the DC Clown posse camp is they can use this to “weaken Trump”. The Never Trumpers are so blinded by hate they simply do not see the growing rage in the GOP base at this Swamp behavior.
Every day they prolong this, they reminded more and more people just why they loath the DC Swamp and it sleazy PR stunts.
Romney is going to lose in the end so he does enormous damage to his political standing, destroys any future political capital and loses anyway.

You know - I could almost accept this low life POS and his call for witnesses if he sincerely wanted to get to the truth of the matter. If he wanted to cross examine the 18 democrat “witnesses” from the House. If he wanted Hunter or Joe as witnesses.
But No.
He wants new witnesses AGAINST the president.

God works in mysterious ways. I voted McCain and Romney and thought Obama would be the end of the country in which I grew up. Without the 8 miserable years of Obama we wouldn’t have gotten President Trump.
