Speaking at a Manhattan fundraiser, then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton boiled down the 2016 presidential election into a simple scenario. On one side, you had the Trump supporters, the “basket of deplorables,” the “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic - you name it.” And on the other, you had the normal voters: the Democrats.
This moment became one of the election’s watersheds. And it inspired a new fervor among President Trump’s base because it confirmed what many voters had long suspected: establishment politicians are elitist, out-of-touch, and negligent.
It seems Virginia Democrats didn’t learn from Clinton’s 2016 mistake. The state is currently embroiled in a contentious debate about gun control and whether Richmond has the right to limit the rights of gun owners in the rest of the state. At a public meeting in Fairfax County this weekend, one Democratic state senator stood up and declared that Second Amendment supporters are “little kids” who ought to be ignored.
Sen. Dave Marsden then sent a follow-up letter to his constituents and said “too many” Second Amendment supporters in the state “appear to have mental health issues.”

All that matters is the numbers in each county. You could make the same map for almost every state in the Union.

Even Maryland west of i81 is about as southern as you can get. My wife is from Cumberland. The motto? "Where the South begins . . ."
How did I know President Trump would win? In June of 2016 before I retired, for my job I had to travel through Northwestern Maryland, Northern West Virginia, and South Western Pennsylvania
What amazed me most? I'm north of the Mason-Dixon line in Pennsylvania, and I was astounded! -- confederate battle flags flying everywhere, and homemade "Trump signs". WTF? Anyone with eyes could see who would win that election. I should have gone to Vegas and placed a hefty bet!
I was a student at Ole Miss and would slide up to Memphis every couple of weeks. Again, we were looking for "fun".

This bunch of Va. Democrats is the sickest, most psychopathic group I’ve ever scene and I’ve lived in Virginia since 1966, knew both sane and honorable Democrats and Republicans. No more re the Democrats. Time to destroy them legally and politically. Take no prisoners.
It seems like both parties in VA have failed to learn from history.
Cuccinelli did not lose because more people voted Democrat. He lost because he did not have a ground game to get out the vote. He was (his campaign organization) was complacent, sort of like certain favored football teams in these playoffs.
Virginia Republicans still have not learned that for them, a ground game is essential to win. They think they deserve to win because they are right on the issues; not because hard work deserves a win.

That map is in error. Many of the “green” counties are not 2A supporters. For example, the last I heard, the Chesterfield BoS voted to make no statement on the 2A Sanctuary (as they believe it is a state matter). So their profile in cowardice should not be green...
It’s important that we face the actual facts of what we are up against. Echo chambers are what make the liberals so stupid and vile; we don’t need to copy them...

Don’t be fooled! The real aim of disarmament is NOT to suddenly pass draconian gun control laws and go door to door to confiscate them. They know that would start a revolution where they would lose.
Their intention is to THREATEN to pass those laws to get everyone all riled up and then “back off” and pass only a few “sensible” anti gun laws. The 2A crowd will think they have won but in reality they LOST SOME OF THEIR RIGHTS.
The liberals are in it for the long game where they nibble away your rights a tiny bit at a time until your great grandchildren will be hailed as heroes when they turn in the guns they inherited to be destroyed.
