NO dem is going to win. But the rise of Bernie is an opportunity for the left to see how their unpreferred candidates will be shanked...a learning experience nearly all of them will predictably miss.
Hey, at least it would give the American people a clear choice between two guys who don’t pretend to be anything other than who they actually are.
The DNC picks the winner, not the voters. The DNC took the issue to federal courts in 2016, where the courts ruled in favor of the DNC holding the ultimate right to choose the candidate for the general election. So why waste all the time and money for nonsense theater?

What they need to do is have ANOTHER Super delegate/ Brokered convention fiasco. Deprive Bernie of the nomination.
And then have those dienfranchised Bernie supporters, et al (30-40%). Split from the Dems permanently and start their own party.
Bernie isn’t even a Democrat.

Bernie has a practically fixed number of supporters. When elections roll around, he’s quick to pick them up and make a respectable showing in polls - but doesn’t garner any more support than that. The number is enough to challenge competitors, but not enough to win outright.
If Bernie is rising/leading in polls, I suspect it’s because those not supporting are not answering the poll - out of dismay for the alternatives. Bernie’s true believers are solidly behind him. Those who aren’t have a choice of ... Biden? Warren? Buttedgeedge? ugh. Maybe non-Bernie Dems are just quietly sitting this one out.

I am an IA conservative. Thinking I should maybe go to the Dem caucus to vote for the Bern. Would love to see PDJT debate this a$$hate.
That way I was able to vote against Hillary twice--once in the primary and once in the general.
For me, Bernie is preferable in the general elections.
He is not an establishment kind of guy, so he doesn't have the Dem media and cheating machine on his side.
Bernie's real intentions are more transparent than the other Dem candidates. At least people know what they are getting and can make a real choice.
