Pope Francis has lashed out at a worshipper in an attempt to free his arm from her grip during a visit to a Nativity scene in St Peter's Square.
He delighted tourists on New Year's Eve when he took a stroll through the Square, but he was taken by surprise as he was dragged back by a woman eager to hold his hand.
Francis exclaimed and then struck the woman's hand twice to free himself.
Im sure thats exactly what Jesus would have done.
If it was a muslim holding this commie pope’s hand, he would have never let go.

If he has any brains (questionable) she will be invited back for a private but public audience where he will apologize and listen to her plea. If it is on behalf of the “democracy” faction, he will say something nice about them, and in a week it will all be forgotten.

Jesus lives around 32 years, and in that time I'm sure he did quite a few things that we know nothing about, since only a tiny portion of his life was recorded.

I did not hear the verbal comment from him.
If it was a secular reaction including some cursing, I’d have to say that was a mistake.
I’m willing to give the guy some slack, but there are certain limits what he should do in a situation like this.
I think it was a massive mistake to vote this guy into this position.
He should be nowhere near leadership in the church > IMO.

I was upset while visiting the Vatican a few years ago. A group of security guards pushed and shoved visitors to create a wide open isle so a bishop could strut across the floor in full attire.
It was sickening.
Two days later I visited the Reformation Museum in Geneva and loved the contrast.
