His comments came a few days after Nancy Pelosi directed committee chairmen to begin drafting articles of impeachment against the president
He wouldn't say if the House would vote on impeachment this week
Jerry Nadler asserted Sunday that Democrats in the House have a 'rock solid' case to impeach Donald Trump.
'We have a very rock solid case,' the House Judiciary Committee chairman said on CNN's State of the Union Sunday morning.
'I think the case we have, if presented to a jury, would be a guilty verdict in about three minutes flat,' he added.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday instructed House committee chairmen to begin drafting articles of impeachment against the president. Her announcement came a day after the first Judiciary hearing, where a team of three Democratic-called attorneys testified that Trump committed impeachable offenses.
Even if the House does vote to recommend impeachment, the matter will more than likely be knocked down in the Republican-controlled Senate – where the case would move next.
Republicans argue that there is not enough direct evidence to prove Trump engaged in a quid pro quo with his Ukrainian counterpart. The GOP, instead, claims that all the allegations are based on hearsay from second- or third-hand accounts.
'There is considerable direct evidence,' Nadler asserted to CNN host Dana Bash.

Is is Rock solid? Really?
Depends who is on the jury doesn’t it? If I were on that jury, I would have many doubts about impeachment over a phone call, a phone call in which one has to parse the language and diagram the sentences, to discern that there was some illegal high crime involved.
Of course Nadler has a rock solid case. He can feel it in his gut. Nadler is constipated. Go for it Jerry.
The porcine Nadler wouldn’t know “rock solid” if it hit him in the face.
The one main way these idiot dims always underestimate this man who is our President is they believe they have figured out what he will do.
If they studied him through the rest of time they could never figure him out.
They are throwing their “rock solid” case at him and it will bounce off.

Nadler will have to bite the bullet, fold his tent and go home.The sooner he does, the less damage the Dems will suffer.But they are taking it on the chin right now, love it!
Of course he did. He can tell the truth and say “our impeachment case is built on innuendo and false accusations from people that hate Trump”.

If you have to say it’s rock solid it’s not rock solid.
What the Democrats have is a great big fear of being punished for the crimes they have committed.
He’s lying. He knows it is not. This is a British Paper so the the rats convincing the world that the sitting POTUS is a criminal. And will they fail, so whenever Trump deals with foreign leaders this will be in the room.
Nadler is right. Case closed.

They must be punished for those crimes to keep others from becoming criminals like them.
Now, they are trying to escape punishment from their crimes by committing more crimes.
These Democrat leaders must be SERIOUSLY punished for this second set of criminal actions.

The Democrat leaders need to go to President Trump and confess.
