Missed part of the witch-hunt...but just heard a little blurb on the news that rep Stefanik asked Taylor if the ammunition that Trump sent was more that what obama sent. Good for her! She phrased the question correctly. Taylor seemed to trip over his answer.

Testimony from the whistleblower is probably not needed. It is like a neighbor calls the police and says, “I hear screaming and yelling in an upstairs apartment.” The police come and find a woman bruised and bleeding, a man with skinned and swollen knuckles, and furniture in disarray. They do NOT need the neighbor. The true situation is right before their eyes, and the neighbor is not a witness as to who did what to whom.
Turkish President Erdogan is indirectly hitting probably, Russia, and I believe the US media, and definitely the House of Representatives for their recent Resolution, naming the tactics of terrorist sympathizers.
He cites a good case for Turkey defending itself, but that forces do not want the USA and Turkey bilateral cooperation to succeed.
Just sayin’, because I don’t know what proofs he shared with our president and a collage of US senators who were allowed some time to hear and question President Erdogan.
It is a TV appearance that looks like another foreign policy HOME RUN.

Except that the “whistleblower” can identify the people who illegally leaked the content of the call to him. They might be on the hook for a charge of espionage. He also, with pressure properly applied, might lay out the full conspiracy and involvement of Schiff and company from before the complaint was filed.
Except that the WB has many partisan ties and appears to be a part of a coup.
In your example the WB would have been the neighbor who actually told the hubby that his wife was cheating on him, which caused the fight, but holding back the info that he is the one she’s cheating with. Might be of interest to the investigator.

Although probably not mentioned, I’m sure Erdogan is also pished over the recent Congressional action on the Armenian Genocide. I have a 1919 National Geographic on that tragedy and it sure looks ugly and probably genocide to me and I approved of the Congressional vote to condemn Turkey’s bahavior.

I have been disturbed that more FReepers are not bothered by Russian interference or Putin in general. However, if there was Ukrainian interference it would be important to identify if it was during a period when the Ukrainian leadership was pro Russia, or not.
This looks to me more like Neighbor A (the whistleblower) having a deep seated hatred of Neighbor B. So A decides to call the police to investigate B for something trumped up just to make trouble for B. That’s why A’s identity does need to be known, and they need to testify.
I assume you are being facetious. Schiff is hiding the identity of the whistleblower, and saying he no longer matters. He's desperate to keep him away from anyone who can ask him questions, because the answers would show what a set-up this is.
So, no whistleblower in the House, but in Senate it's possible. We've already seen Rand Paul decry the notion that the whistleblower is entitled to remain anonymous. He could be served with a subpoena by the Senate as part of the impeachment trial.
But, when will that be?

In the Press Conference between the Turkish president and Trump, Erdogan imho, is slamming it out of the park (if true).
He does reveal he has brought what I call proofs to the president.
This is a big advance, by all appearances, between the two countries.
Senators present that I could recognize were from big red states, whats his name from Florida, Cruz of Texas, Lindsey Graham and three others in camera range.
He could, but he's already announced three more days of hearings next week. And then, per the rules that the full House passed, the results from these hearings will be forwarded to the Judiciary Committee, headed by Jerry Nadler, for the actual articles of impeachment to be drawn up.
I don't think the Intel committee is going to vote on anything, but that's just a guess. But for sure, they are not the ones that will be forwarding the Articles of Impeachment to the full House, Nadler at Judiciary will be.
