A “tidal wave” of mass immigration has “tilt(ed) the field toward the Democrats” in the state of Virginia, the New York Times admits.
Last week, Democrats took control of Virginia’s House of Delegates and the State Senate. Now, the Democrats hold power over the state’s legislature, the governor’s seat and the lieutenant governor’s seat — the first time since 1993 that this has occurred.
The New York Times now admits that four to five decades of mass immigration — where about 1.2 million legal immigrants are admitted to the United States every year — has shifted Virginia into a blue state:
Not long ago, this rolling green stretch of Northern Virginia was farmland. Most people who could vote had grown up here. And when they did, they usually chose Republicans. [Emphasis added]
The fields of Loudoun County are disappearing. In their place is row upon row of cookie-cutter townhouses, clipped lawns and cul-de-sacs — a suburban landscape for as far as the eye can see. Unlike three decades ago, the residents are often from other places, like India and Korea. And when they vote, it is often for Democrats. [Emphasis added]

There is no way to compete with the propaganda.
In the past, immigrants would come here, want to work hard, and want to make a life for themselves. Today, they come here and are immediately bombarded with propaganda telling them that they are actually an oppressed minority class that is entitled to handouts. And that’s what they all want. They come here and want free food, free healthcare, free shelter. And they want this provided for by hard working American taxpayers because they think they are entitled to it.
Then on top of that, you got the indoctrinated millennial generation. So the left has got that angle covered too. All these young people coming out of college are leftists....not just liberals, but far-left socialist wackjobs. You got idiots at UC Berkeley talking about needing to change the first amendment so that hate speech can be banned!
There is no demographic where conservatism is growing. None. The only reason we are not a socialist country today already is because of the electoral college. A conservative will never, ever win the popular vote in this country again. I will bet you whatever money you want on that.
In FR postings so far none have mentioned what voter turnouts were in those states having elections. Any analysis of the results which doesn’t include turnout is worthless when considering the impact on the 2020 potential result.
Also the GOP in Virginia allowed so many seats where they didn’t run a candidate. You can’t win if you don’t have candidates.
WHat happens when all the white people flee to another country and it’s all 3rd world immigrants and socialist politicians. The left, repeat, the left destroys every place they take over.

25 % of the Senate the pathetic GOP didn’t have a candidate and only lost by 2. The house 23 dems ran unopposed and won by 6 I think. Terrible Gop leadership. It’s like they wanted to lose.
The only way to stop this is to put a 50 year moratorium on immigration, period.
1-4 years, tops.

So after reading this thread, there doesn’t appear to be a solution within the system. The Dems will keep the border jammed open and many GOP collaborators are just fine with millions of illegals that they want to make legal. Sounds like a societal collapse is coming with spreading anarchy or a Marxist dictatorship.
Like the Washington Generals, the GOP has devolved into playing the role of stooges for the Democrats, initially at the Federal level, and now increasingly in the State House.
This, largely enabled by massive immigration (legal and otherwise), will guarantee universal one party Democrat rule in another generation....

This sickens me in the states I go through and see food land (agriculture and decent live stock land) being turned into more and more overpriced housing and over priced processed food eateries.
what good reason is there for towns to push out their food producers and pop up hundreds of more homes with mouths to feed in them, then have to truck in food?

Yep, Virginia suburbs are filled with legal East Asians and South Asians. And they vote. Democrat.
That’s fine but many of these immigrants, especially those that voted, are legal and came via airplane not the Rio Grande. It’s just that Indians, Chinese, Koreans, etc are mostly Democrats.

Do you know that the United States takes in a million and a half LEGAL immigrants a year?
If all illegal immigration were stopped tomorrow, it would still not prevent the hasty dismantlement of the country.
The country as we knew it is pretty much gone. This very well may be the last GOP President of Trump’s MAGA and America is going blue at an alarming rate. Demographics is destiny and it doesn’t help a good portion of our potential population was killed off before birth.
