Well the GOP has ten votes to impeach TRump???
It’s time for a third party...
FL Rubio is a POS. Already knew that.
He got heckled at the first TEA party rally I went to in 09. Because as speaker of FL house he said he was against AZ’s immig laws.
Uni-party in action. Sickening to watch.
its a resolution. they can’t end a presidential national emergency declaration.
These Senators do not care about the integrity of our borders! How appalling! Can Trump do it anyway?? Veto perhaps? Then they would need how many to override a veto?? (sorry, I am old and had my Government [at least I DID have Government classes!!] classes over 50 years ago)
Anyone know offhand how many of them are up for re-election in 2020? I’m guessing none, i.e. gutless.
Same ‘ol snakes...just a different day ;-(
(That is what I figured)
It will be vetoed and the veto will be sustained.
Corruption is bipartisan.
Thats what I see, 10 people who are in the tank with the democrats.
They can give the finger to the President but it wont become law.
What’s Rand Paul doing there? He’s usually a good guy.
Yup.
Roy Blunt, Susan Collins, and Mike Lee are the other 3. So disappointed in Mike Lee & Rand Paul, but not surprised.
Names pls.
Under the National Emergencies Act, a resolution ending the declaration needed only a simple majority to clear the Senate, making it likely to be approved. But underscoring the broad swath of concern about Trumps actions among the Senate GOP caucus, 11 Republican senators voted to nix the declaration.
*********************************************
So theres no confusion, this resolution passed the Senate in September and was later vetoed by the President. Todays vote was to override the veto. The VETO OVERRIDE FAILED so TRUMPS DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY ON THE BORDER still STANDS.
Today was a good day that the RINOs virtue signaling votes couldnt spoil.
They can do it because they know theres no consequences to it.
Override attempt will fail in the House and that itll be it for six months.
