Fox Business Lou Dobbs spoke with House Republican whip Steve Scalise tonight and confronted him on why he (and so many other Republicans) voted with the Democrats to rebuke President Donald Trumps Syria withdrawal decision.
Scalise was at the White House meeting this afternoon that top Democrats left after what they described as a meltdown from President Donald Trump.
Scalise said Trump laid out his plan to contain ISIS terrorists because we dont want them to run loose.
Dobbs teed off about how Republicans need to do more to back up the president, particularly on the issue of international police actions, asking, Isnt it time to start following this president? I dont understand it. The Republicans I would think you guys would say, You know, Nancy Pelosi is for it, I sure as Hell better be against it!'
Scalise touted what Republicans have done in supporting the president and opposing Pelosi.
At one point, Do you think the voters, congressman, are going to ask a congressman running for reelection what did you do for the president at the moment at which he needed the greatest support, that he needed people standing shoulder to shoulder with him instead of voting with the damn Democrats on a resolution

It is a disgrace and a black stain on their souls.
Our Constitution give us Freedom of beliefs and forcing Americans to pay for these acts, nurses & doctors to participate is unconstitutional. It shall not stand.
The video cuts in while he was in the middle of explaining it. The entire segment is available on the Fox Business website. His vote was about continuing to contain ISIS and preventing the release of ISIS prisoners.
Dobbs has no response to that, of course, other than to point to irrelevant polls.
Was there a declaration of war to have our troops there in the first place?
Those soldiers were there in the first place because Trump wanted to destroy ISIS. Scalise opposes withdrawing them because he thinks it will let ISIS off the hook. Not sure what any of that has to do with any argument over whether we are the world’s policemen or about “large donors.”
Heck no. And assad sure as hell didnt invite us into his sovereign borders.
If folks arent upset that we are violating other nations borders uninvited, then why should they be upset that NATO ally Turkey is doing so?
And if the Turks are wrong, then kick them out of NATO and declare war.
Graham said he would be “President’s worst nightmare on Syria if necessary” as per Fox News: https://www.foxnews.com/media/lindsey-graham-worst-nightmare-syria
Ive just been calling the good guys and the bad!
The good guys, Meadows, Jordan, Gaetz, Bill Posey ( Florida) had availability to leave a message or talk to a live person, and were VERY VERY appreciative of the support!!!!!!
The backstabbers......Scalise esp had some weak phone person who couldnt give me a simple explanation or speak for the Congressman
I told him that was essentially the same message we heard on Lou Dobbs last night......NOTHING but stonewalling!
They dont think we are on to them
Can you say President Pence? That may be the situation by January>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Buahahahaha!
Why not a twofer?
Can you say President Pelosi?
Dobbs is one of the only men remaining in the press who will confront the enemy.
There were 28 special ops forces left.
Do you want to keep them there forever to stop Isis for returning? That is absurd.
28 Special ops individuals can’t be everywhere.
When ISIS raises its head again as it will we can fight them there.
The only people who buy the idea that leaving 28 special forces members to be slaughtered by an advancing army will stop ISIS are those who have a very different vested interest that they are obscuring form the American people...hence the reference to donors.
During the interview, he should have asked which of his close relatives would he like to send to stand with the soldiers in Syria.
