Michael's been very critical of Trump's Syrian pull-back. To me, it seemed uncharacteristic of Savage, who has not been supportive of our endless wars.

Trump promised to get us out of Syria when he ran for president.

Also, why does the US have an obligation to fight for creation of a Kurd nation-state ? When were the American people consulted about that goal? When did Congress vote to OK it?

Maybe Savage has talked about the importance of the Kurds in the past, but I must not have been listening at those times. Now though, it suddenly seems like a top priority for him.

Fine, lets have Congress debate whether the US should go to war for the Kurds. If we go to war for a Kurdish homeland without a debate and a vote by the people's representatives, we live in a monarchy, not a democracy or even a Republic.

Yes but he did it in a way that released 700 ISIS warriors on the world.

I support a Kurdish nation-state. I suspect Trump supports it. What he isn’t willing to do is go to war with Turkey to include Syrian territory in this Kurdish nation-state.

There already is an independent Kurdistan, though none of the men in suits are willing to say it out loud. We are no doubt helping them there. Trump isn’t prepared to go to war to expand that territory.

They can work it out with Assad to have a Kurdish province in Syria. This seems to be the way they are going to go.

I’m also surprised that Savage wants us to stay at the center of this war that could last forevermore.
Sometimes, I think Mike Savage takes the opposite view that is expected, just to keep his supporters on edge.

Mike may see how harsh and caustic people like Ann Coulter has become toward the president. “I want him to fear me TOO!”
I definitely can see Mike saying about Trump, due to Mike’s ego and his nearing of retirement.
As a side note, I hardly ever read a full Ann Coulter column anymore. She seems to specialize in bad news and insults.

Our objective there is finished. The Kurds have been at odds with their neighbors since before Columbus found the other half of the planet. And everyone knows, even the Kurds, that military alliances are amongst the most fleeting of all. Mike is not only wrong, but inconsistent with his opinions over the years that the ME is a rat-hole where we never should have gotten involved in to begin with.

Every time i witness some fluffy male with a man bun whose girlfriend pays for home at Starbucks I not only think, “gotta stay out of here”, I think, “no more sending the young men with testosterone on board to go get shot up and blown up in the desert

Eeeenough.

It’s easy to send someone else to fight and perhaps die. Would Savage be willing to go himself and put his life on the line? I don’t think so.

“Threw the Kurds to Tirhey” is a strong narrative.

Actually, we ‘threw’ them to Assad. That takes some thinking to understand LOL!
(And, it’s not a great feat, but it’s much better than letting Turkey have it’s way with them!

Savage has Bidenitis. Old, getting senile and peeing on his shoes from time to time.

Great idea, Savage. We can have another Muslim country in the world which as a special bonus is Maoist. We know the Kurds were screaming “America Akbar” and “We love Zionists” as they stormed Raqqa. Savage... real man of genius.

ps. I don’t like the Turks any better.

If the Kurds cannot establish their own state, then they aren’t going to be able to maintain their own state either.

That means it would be an endless war.

Let those who are for that, go work towards it.
Including shit heads who want others to do that for them.

And.

Let the scumbags who demand all this crap without a declaration of war from Congress cease to pretend that they are or ever were constitutionalists. In fact, I will help any who are confused about that point and believe that they can be both by correcting them in their error.

Relentlessly. The time for pretending to be both is over.

This selfie video of a disgusting and mocking Russian mercenary poking through the remains of a quickly abandoned US Special Forces camp with the food still on the table, tails between legs, is just too much to watch. How can any patriotic American just ignore this humiliation. Our troops out there are freaking outraged. Heard it from too many sources! Oh hey I guess this is just fake news. /sarc

George Washington and Eisenhower were right.

George W. Bush, George Tenet and Colin Powell were wrong.

Lindsay Graham is a Military-Industrial Complex whore.

And Mikey Savage is just confused.

Savage is just a Bill O’Reilly wannabe... staking positions all over the map so everybody finds something to agree with him about.
