Devin Nunes’ Lawsuit Against Twitter Could Turn Into The Company’s Worst Nightmare
The Federalist ^ | 10/08/2019 | Sean Davis

Posted on 10/08/2019 8:10:17 PM PDT by Kevin in California

When Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., sued Twitter in Virginia court in March for negligence over multiple cases of defamation and impersonation by the social media giant’s users, he was mocked and laughed at for thinking his case would accomplish anything. But following a Virginia judge’s ruling last week that Nunes’ suit could proceed to trial in the Old Dominion, it may be Nunes who gets the last laugh.

Nunes, who was first elected to Congress 2002, rose to prominence following the 2016 election as the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). With Nunes leading the charge to investigate the origins of the allegations of treasonous Russian collusion against President Donald Trump and his political campaign, the collusion narrative was rapidly shown to be a false fabrication bought and paid for by the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee. As HPSCI chair, it was Nunes who forced Fusion GPS to disclose that its hiring of Christopher Steele, a foreign spy, to collude with foreign officials to manufacture and spread dirt on Trump and his associates was in fact funded by Team Clinton. It was Nunes who forced the declassification and release of key spy warrants that showed the FBI and Department of Justice fed false allegations to federal spy courts in order to justify spying on Trump campaign affiliates.

The whole paradigm of how information is delivered must eventually change.

These social media outlets have turned the population into mindless, misinformed mobs.

The Red Chinese must love our brain-dead, NEA-saturated snowflakes, punching out their mindless, socialist pablum on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Laura Loomer is suing Facebook for 3 billion for banning her after they labeled her a “Dangerous Person” for criticizing Muslims. Everybody will be suing if a few of these people win.

Spend a few years on WeChat. That is their Facebook and Instagram rolled into one, along with the ability to be their bank card too.

Without WeChat Wallet, you can’t get a cab in China anymore, or many other services.

And yes, Tencent (the “owner” of WeChat is part of the Chinese military...)

Way to go Devin. Twitter let some leftist call me a bot. Joe Biden preemptively blocked me. Twitter put me in Twitter jail for 12 hours. Does this mean I can sue the bastards here in Kentucky?

Between democrat impeachment bs and the twitter media firewall of crap, we are at civil war levels now.

Any time something happens to the level that the victor will be the one writing history, we are at war level, and this is where we are at now.

I have been in vicious court fights and confronting on witness stands fibbing lying cops, and I know what I am talking about regarding sickos wanting to rewrite the story to their liking.

labeled her a “Dangerous Person” for criticizing Muslims.

I was routinely banned from Facebook for trolling Mozlems. I got a kick out of their mindless threats when they had no idea who I was. At the time only an email address was needed so it was easy to get back on. I forget how many times I was martyred but I must be owed thousands of virgins by now.

Devin - Go for it. Take the leftist bastards to the cleaners and use a vacuum cleaner to get their money. The same for the anonymous smear artists and that crazy woman who admitted to being a smear artist.

This is how ya do it, baby.

Start drilling these arseholes in their wallets.

The same with the coup reprobates. They have *some* immunity from civil liability when acting *within the scope of employment*.

However, I think some pretty colorable arguments can be made that these rat bastards went well outside of those bounds.

Why the eff should Cardinal Comey live out his days as a multimillionaire?

President Trump has already signaled his approval of civil remedies.

Normally, you would want a guilty verdict first. It would make your civil case a slam dunk. But, sometimes, you play the hand your dealt.
