Mondale had 1,036,364 votes in Minnesota in the 1984 election.
Reagan had 1,032,603 votes in Minnesota in 1984.
Despite Mondale's landslide victory in his home state, he later managed to lose a race for Senate in Minnesota.

There is hope among working Americans. Glad to see some awakening. People realizing that the left couldn’t care less about “the little guy”. All they care about is control over our lives.

I believe many have had enough of democrats dumping Somalis on them. They know their safety isn’t what it used to be.
Things like the recent beating of the white man at the hands of several islamic Somali thugs isn’t going completely unnoticed.
They’ve lost their security because of democrats.

Reagan couldnt win Minnesota.
Youre clueless.
Reagan actually had a stop in Minnesota CANCELLED because his polling showed it was going to be a blowout, and didn't feel it necessary to humiliate Mondale in his homestate. It was a different era.
Many thought that Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were fool's gold. Trump showed otherwise. This is what a political realignment looks like.

Not so fast.
The millennials and a lot of brainwashed “kids” could be a big problem.

In 1984, there was little significant 3rd party opposition, but in their absence, Mondale most likely would still have won. Either way, it was very close.
In 2016, 3.84% went to Gary Johnson, 1.8% went to Evan McMuffin, but that was offset by the 1.26% that went to Jill Stein.
You can’t necessarily assume which way 3rd party votes would have gone without that option, but in the absence of Johnson and McMuffin, Trump might well have taken MN in 2016. He should have a better chance in 2020 unless the Libertarians and Never Trumpers once again conspire to throw the state to the far-left Democrat candidate.

President Trump will easily win reelection and CNN will be calling for revolution. The unarmed left will throw their Gucci loafers at us? The only thing CNN could do is incite riots in the cities, but that will just lead to more white flight and new conservative voters.

3761 votes more for Mondale, a mere .18%
Of course, we’re dealing with a much higher rate of “voting irregularities” nowadays.

Yeah, but according to Fox, Trump is losing to all Dems. This is why I pay o attention to polls - early half are garbage, and nearly half are utter BS, and we dont know which is which

They are overstating the numbers but that doesn't make the whole article wrong. New Mexico is bringing in millions of dollars from new oil and gas wells. Pennsylvania and West Virginia are still bringing back thousands of jobs that Obama destroyed. The people in these areas only had the words of Donald Trump back in 2016. Today they have the record of president Trump to vote on.
