Why the democrats hate the Constitution, hate God, hate America, hate our founding, hate our flag, hate our anthem, hate patriotism, hate borders, hate the rule of law and automatically see racism... in all of the above and in Trump and in all proud patriotic American citizens.
Progressivism.
Worldwide Progressivism supersedes and supplants socialism and International Communism.
Obama summed it up. Progressives do not consider themselves as mere American citizens. They see themselves as 'Citizens of the World.'
As citizens of the world they recognize no borders or boundaries. They recognize no nation and no national citizenship. They recognize no confining constitution. They bow to no God, abide by no law.
Progressivism is their God, their constitution, their ideology, their religion, the definer, grantor and enforcer of their 'human rights' and rules to live by. And as in all totalitarian isms, individuals actually have no rights, but they must OBEY the ever-changing rules handed down from high.
Anyone critical of progressivism or their ideas, no matter how radical or nonsensical is automatically deemed a 'racist' who must be silenced, shunned, swarmed upon, run out of public life and destroyed.
The charge of racism is their primary weapon and supplier of fresh meat for their political guillotine.
But their progressive constitution is a 'living' constitution and they make up the rules as they go.
Under progressivism, there are no God-given inalienable rights. Your rights are as they say. Individuals have no inalienable rights and no say in the matter. It's not about the individual, it's about the betterment of the world.
Yeah, they give lip service to America and our constitution, but it's just to gain political power. They actually use our constitution as a weapon against us. We are the enemy.
It's like their fairy tale dreams come true. Imagine there is no God, no religion, no nations, no borders, no flags, no rules, no war. We are one, we are good and we are the world.
How do we defend against this? LOUDLY! Stand up loudly for God, family, country! Trump stands for America, he stands for me and I stand for him!
If the progressives want my gun, my bible, my flag, my family, my country, my freedom, they can Come and take it!
But they'd best bring their lunch and a lantern. It's gonna be a long day.

It is just like if we bring out attractive black candidates, they are suddenly Uncle Toms or inauthentic or whatever. BO himself was an inauthentic black descended not from black slaves, but black slave traders and white slave owners. But that was OK because he parroted the party line. Ben Carson, a genuine descendant of black slaves, on the other hand, is not real because he refuses to parrot the party line.
So I don't even want to call these jerks "progressives" because (a)there is nothing progressive about them and (b)that is the name they want to be called by.
From not on, I am going to call them PC supremacists because (a)supremacist and PC already carry a negative connotation and (b)supremacists are exactly what they are. They consider themselves supremacist and entitled to rule not because of any actual results or accomplishments but because they just declare themselves to be smarter and entitled to rule.

As a British ex-pat, as a teenager, I used to think this way. People would ask the hypothetical “if England and America were at war, who would you fight for?”. I would always reply that we’re too alike and that couldn’t happen. I considered myself a “world citizen” and nation states were just artificial constructs designed to control people.

I strongly agree with everything that you said. My next question would be where did the progressive moment come from, and how did it get so strong? It would suggest that it was no accident, or random occurrence.
Progressivism is just another name for Comunism, and all the “lovely” results that come with it.
