Breaking News!!: Needles, CA: Needles City Council voted unanimously to declare the City of Needles a Second Amendment Sanctuary City.

Members of the Needles City Council has voted unanimously to declare the City of Needles a Second Amendment Sanctuary City.

The vote occurred during the Needles City Council Meeting in Needles, California on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019.

According to the agenda item packet released from the City of Needles, California has strict gun laws in comparison to neighboring states. Gun laws are set by the California Legislature. The federal constitution provides protections for citizens to “keep and bear arms” Arizona Residents will not come here because of gun laws and business opportunities are being missed, Needles City Council Member Timothy Terral.

Councilor Terral’s request is to declare the City of Needles a Second Amendment Sanctuary City and to consider any or all of the following:

1) To request that the Sheriff not enforce weapons violations by California, Nevada and Arizona residents.

2) To request that the Legislature allow an exemption to California gun laws for the City of Needles and within a 65 miles radius of Needles.

3) To request that the Legislature allow reciprocity of concealed weapons permits with Nevada and Arizona. Fiscal Impact would be for the cost of research and ordinance preparation.

“The City of Needles, California recognizes the Second Amendment, above what the State of California does. The right to keep and bear arms; we’re holding that sacred. It’s not gonna say go break the law by no means, you will still have to follow the law until the law is change, this is the first step to change the laws in California,” said Needles City Council Member Timothy Terral.

After some more discussion, two motions were presented and voted on that night.

Dale Jones, City Clerk for the City of Needles, repeated the first motion before they voted; “The motion was to declare the City of Needles a Second Amendment Sanctuary City,” and seconds later, members of the Needles City Council voted unanimously “Yes” on the motion stated

This is going to bring a lot of Californians into town to purchase ammunition. Until the Kali gestapo shuts it down.

That Sanctuary title is going to confuse a lot of people.
Many associate that word with support of Liberal causes.

The ruling commie Kalis don’t have to obey federal laws but the Needles council will have to obey their rules.

Good for them.

Sanctuary isn’t just for fraudulently documented foreigners anymore.

I passed through Needles a few times and stopped for food and fuel. Glad to see the residents have the good sense to embrace Liberty.

Needles, which is was a dying town, has become a boom town because of Marijuana. It will be the Marijuana cultivation center of California. Inexpensive power and lots of water.

They need to vote unanimously to get their gas prices below $6.99 a gallon. Joking, but not by much.

“....Until the Kali gestapo shuts it down.”

It is just as likely that state employees won’t be
allowed to travel to Needles. Remember, we are talking
about Democrats.

It borders Arizona and seems like a “tourist” area....would they honor AZ permits to carry? If so, how are their pre-emption laws? It’s a smart move to get extra business into the area.
