On Thursday, Paris police investigators said they think an electrical short-circuit most likely caused the fire.

The Parisien newspaper has reported that investigators are considering whether the fire could be linked to a computer glitch or related to temporary elevators used in the renovation that was underway at the time the cathedral caught fire. Chauvet said there were fire alarms throughout the building, which he described as “well protected.”

Charlotte Hubert, president of a group of French architects who specialize in historic monuments, told BFM television that experts plan to spread a custom-made peaked tarpaulin across the cathedral’s roof, with enough space to also shield workers rebuilding the frame.

I guess no one is even looking for accelerants...

Yet elsewhere it has been said that huge wood beams like that don’t just burn rapidly; they need an accelerant.

So, something seems amiss...

Wonder how many “explanations” the French will float to hide the truth.

No one ever saw the movie “Backdraft”?
911 was based on a movie where terrorists fly a plane into the White House.

Lesson #1:
Computers don’t cause fires.
There is logic inside the microprocessor which detects operation outside of norms and then slows things down or shuts it down.

This is why you don’t get data center fires or Intel corporate headquarters.

Lesson #2: Never get advice from a politician or a religious leader about technical issues.

They sure don’t seem to be narrowing it down. Elevators, computers...gee didn’t someone have a hotplate or soldering iron somewhere? Hey! maybe an old kerosene lamp...?

Computers don’t have glitches. Humans screw up and call it a computer glitch.

When one or the Muslims who was working on burning down just part of the place got a call from his accomplices a circuit in his cell phone made an arc and it “accidentally” ignited vapors from the accelerant he was using on fire. Cell phones these days are computers, so a computer glitch started the fire. /s

What I find odd is that they did not even wait a decent amount of time. The fire was declared a probable accident less than 24 hours after it happened.

So how much investigative time was put in before that announcement? I’m guessing the answer to that question is none.

well I’m just a kook but the muzzies have been attacking Catholic churches every week, maybe everyday and to me its not coincidental that on Monday of Easter week an international symbol of the Catholic faith catches fire....

Next up: President Macron declares that all the attacks on French churches were due to computer glitches.
