US President Donald Trump has officially recognised Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Golan Heights, captured from Syria in 1967, in a move hailed as "historic" by the country's prime minister.
Benjamin Netanyahu, who is up for re-election next month, was by Mr Trump's side as he signed the proclamation.

It’s the only thing THEY CAN DO. Pics show Israel as a sitting duck they can use for target practice. As if they wouldn’t? I say take over Lebanon and make it Christian again.

I remember Condi Rice muttering about giving up the Golan as the "right thing to do." And it was given up. People who had property there were quite upset. It was the Bush administration who caused it.
Thank God for President Trump.
