Will Trump go quietly in 2021? [facepalm alert]
TNS via Lexington Herald-Leader ^ | 3/13/2019 | JOHN M. CRISP

I give comedian Bill Maher credit for being the first to suggest, at least a year ago, that if Trump isn’t re-elected, he will not leave office peacefully. As recently as his last show, he was having trouble getting his guests – from the left and the right – to take that concern seriously.

Not give up power peacefully? Outrageous.

But during his two-hour speech at CPAC last week Trump asserted that “Democrats hate America.” He was cheered wildly. Can we be certain that Trump won’t call on his deeply committed and well-armed supporters to take to the streets to overturn an illegitimate “victory” by America-haters?

We hope that all Americans understand that the concept of America transcends Trump. But he has been planting the seeds of division for more than two years, and he’s found fertile ground. It is a mistake not to take this seriously.

Once again the Democrats are telegraphing their intentions.

Can we be certain that the Democrats will call on their deeply committed and well-armed supporters to take to the streets to overturn an "illegitimate" victory by Donald Trump in 2020.

Yes, we can.

Bill Maher also famously said Trump didn’t have a chance to win... Almost everything he’s said about Trump was either wrong or a flat out lie.

These folks are clowns.

Best to take them very seriously.

Leftists are always accusing opponents of what the Leftists are already doing, or planning to do.

Can we be certain that Clinton won’t call on her deeply committed and well-armed swampsters to take to the streets to overturn an illegitimate “victory” by America-lovers?

Hmmmm... I dunno, maybe a violent revolution would be preferable to the slow death that would be the alternative...

Time will tell...

This is not nonsense. It is the groundwork for a Democratic plan to claim the election through massive fraud, challenges to the electoral system, post-election day vote harvesting, and unfounded claims of voter suppression. In 2020, we will not agree on how to conduct the election, or what the final vote counts are, much less who won. The Democrats will characterize any challenge to their outcome as the refusal of Trump to accept their legitimate victory.

They should look at the band of nitwits running for the Democratic nomination and rest easy. President Trump is going to be re-elected.

I would say that the feces has started rolling downhill on top of the Marxist RATs, MSM, and GOP Elites.

I think they will be out of litter soon and not able to cover their corrupt crapola. Just saying!

The meme that a republican president will not leave office peaceably goes all the way back to Richard Nixon, and is repeated faithfully by the paranoid Left every time we have a gop prez. I recently heard a Priest allude to this fear in a public gathering.

Take heart: the Left is fearful of us, even though they will not admit it.

Did Hillary and company go quietly in 2016?

F no!

They’re still trying to take Trump out with a coup.

To hell with people who suggest we should do anything quietly after this last 2+ years.
