The browser extension, called Newsguard, presents users with a red warning label if they navigate to a website that it judges to be unreliable. A green rating is given to websites that NewsGuard considers trustworthy.
A number of pro-Trump websites, including Breitbart News, are given a red rating by the extension.
The website of the conservative-leaning British newspaper The Daily Mail, which has the third-highest circulation in the U.K., is also given a red rating. Newsguard says the site fails to maintain basic standards of accuracy and accountability.
WikiLeaks, which has never had to retract a story due to false or misleading information, is also given a red rating.
Among the websites given a green rating is BuzzFeed, which was recently humiliated for publishing alleged details about the ongoing Mueller investigation that were contradicted by the speial prosecutor himself. BuzzFeed did not retract the story, and even led with it on its frontpage after Mueller contradicted it.
But in Newsguards view, BuzzFeed regularly corrects or clarifies errors.
Many of the websites that recently fed the fake news feeding frenzy against students of Covington Catholic high school in Kentucky, who were falsely accused of taunting a left-wing Native American agitator, are also given a green rating. These include CNN, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.

Now "the truth" is systematically buried in the complexity and what is being passed off as artificial intelligence.
The problem is not the machine, but those who force us to use it for their benefit, not for what we desire to accomplish.
Those of US who don't cooperate? Will we be forced to conform?
Is CNN red-flagged?
Oops. Should have read to the end.
Yep... Just keep propping up and supporting Microsoft. These things are why I hate them. They already have an open backdoor into your Win 10.
Warning label now. Soon, demoting targeted websites. Later compulsory reporting to Big Brother who will rate you on your social conformity.
Microsoft Stasi bump for later...
Who uses Edge?
I use either Firefox or Opera.
Edge?
Lol!
As if.
An app with flagged sites could be useful.
I discovered on Opera, there is a free extension for a VPN which I find handy. Dont ask me how I installed it. I totally forgot how I did it LOL
Yup
And the one who grades the websites is the pajama hot cocoa boy...
No surprises here.
Uninstall it and dont allow fake news to police what you can and cant read.
LOL! Of course not. Only “conservative” news will be black listed. Say FReerepublic gathering site?
Don’t ya hate when you install something good by accident and then have no clue how.

Easy. Users need to simply remember:
red = hot story
green = story gone bad (moldy)
I already solved it for me. Never use Windows Explorer. Seldom use a windows machine.
Have run Linux since 1994-1995. Currently have no need for MS. Browser or OS.
No computer software that I currently use requires MS at all.
Odd is it not that in George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984 the “Ministry of Truth” was directed top down by a tyrannical government as opposed to today?
Today the “Ministry of Truth” is an amalgamation of unbelievably rich progressives in our corporations and media. They today are the unseen hand of tyrannical government. They are one and the same.
One must ask why the corporations have become progressives as they are supposed to be capitalists. The answer is quite simple. They support short term gains (It is nice to fly around in a Gulf stream 500) and progressives are corrupt and thus are useful in their business plans. In the end these progressive corporations will be ended in the interests of The State and their corporate boards will be part of The State or eliminated. This paragraph is mostly from Ann Ryan’s “Atlas Shrugged.”
George Orwell got it mostly right. He just missed a few minor details. Ann Ryan got it exactly right. Both were brilliant.
Harvey Winston is us, he lost. Pray we do not.
Don’t like microsoft,
