I thought that the Presbyterians had gone *full* atheist. It looks like I might have been wrong.
There are several types of Presbyterians. I know several who are very evangelical and conservative, as are the churches they attend.
Others drank liberal Kool-id by the gallon
The PCA Presbyterian ( Presbyterian Church in America)......a reformed, conservative denomination BROKE AWAY from the Presbyterian Church, USA in the early 1970s BECAUSE of the apostate direction of the USA (mainline) church
This mountain town church sounds like a Reformed Church.
Only the PCUSA. Most other Presbyterian denominations are still quite conservative.
I could be wrong, but I think some are still fighting the good fight. Evidently, this Church is one of them. And the Church is correct in that. If a part of Bruce Jenner was found and sent to a DNA Lab to be tested, the DNA would come back to a white male. A male can put on high heel shoes, wear make up , and have their dong cut off. When that happens, they become a surgically mulitated male, not a woman.
I have this pastor as one of my fb friends, he is about as reformed/Calvinist as you can get, I checked out his denomination one time, it is a very small denomination, about as small as you can get. I just looked at his church web site and couldn’t find the denomination name but like I said it is pretty small.
There are several conservative Bible believing Presbyterian denominations. Most are listed at naparc.org.
Only part of them.
I’m sure some Presbys will post the actual ratio.
The Presbyterian church (PCUSA) has gone apostate. The reformed PCA broke away from the PCUSA and follows the traditional Protestant confessions...for now.
One has to be VERY careful what church they choose. Nothing is black and white any longer.
