Mediaite ^ | December 11th, 2018 | by Ken Meyer

Posted on 12/11/2018 10:10:55 AM PST by Mariner

President Donald Trump had a surreal, explosive clash with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) at the White House over border wall funding for their first meeting together since Democrats took control of the House of Representatives in the midterm elections.

Agree. Pence is a good man but not a fighter.

I like Eric Trump. I’d vote for him.

10-4 on the ALL BS.

Put the military in front of BP and secure the border NOW.

The President has all the authority he needs and this will be supported by Texas for sure.

Chuck and Nancy are colluding with America’s enemies. Would love to see them charged with this or any other crimes.

I liked the way Pence put himself at physical risk at the NK border, but.....nah, he didn’t get even a LITTLE dirty, here.

VP Pence did a great job! Political decorum dictates that he be there in support, but he was the fourth in the pecking order for that conversation.

President Trump handled the room and the issues quite well. There was no need for a second voice of verbal support.

Agreed.

For a long time i’ve Believed Eric to be the Trump kid with the strongest potential politically. He has a media savvy, organisational ability and resilience that will see him rise to the top if he wants it.

If not Eric I would like to see Sheriff Clarke run. A born fighter and true patriot

Trump owns the debate if he makes this about the Democrats refusing to secure the border.

I would have shut Chuck and Nancy down by saying, 'Any death of an American citizen by an illegal alien is blood on the hands of you and the Democratic Party'.

Schumer: “elections have consequences, Mr. President” Trump: “ “and that’s why the country is doing so well.” My thoughts: It is unclear what the country really wants in regards to the Wall. If they really thought it was necessary, why did they hand back Congressional power to the Democrats?

Sad isn't it
reality sets in to all those here who didn't think the election wasn't a Blue Wave

Kind of makes you want to punch him in the face, doesn’t it? Or better yet, like when Jimmy Cagney ground a half an orange in some sluts face in one of his movies..

Oh well. No funding for DOJ subpoenas either. These requests are not essential business. Most will be illegitimate.

A government “shutdown” isn’t of course really a shutdown because essential services remain open.

We need to know the budget endgame here because the Dems will push Trump to the limit. Could we actually function better with a long term or permanent “shutdown”? Would it make sense to send bills to individually fund popular non-essential programs?

The problem is Pence rarely publicly supports POTUS on controversial issues. Contrast that to Biden who was always publicly playing for Team Kenya. It it what it is.

I have listened to them for years and I do not believe a word they say!

On the other hand I have listened to Jerome Corsi for many years and I do believe him, I follow him, I read his books!
