America, the Deep State is coming after our president: What are we going to do about it?
The National Sentinel ^ | 12/10/18 | USA Features

Crisis: Over the weekend the cable news shows were filled with politicians Left and Right pontificating about what special counsel Robert Mueller’s latest filings on Friday regarding President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen really mean.

The pontificating went into hyperdrive following the publication of a column by former national security prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, in which he predicted that the president is about to be indicted by the Southern District of New York for “campaign finance violations.”

Impeachment! the Democrats screamed. Impeachment! As if they weren’t already considering it, without cause or reason.

McCarthy wrote:

The major takeaway from the 40-page sentencing memorandum filed by federal prosecutors Friday for Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal attorney, is this: The president is very likely to be indicted on a charge of violating federal campaign finance laws.

Specifically, we’re to believe that the payment of “hush money” to a couple of women whom POTUS has denied having a sexual relationship is the same as if he had written a check — illegally — to a campaign in excess of the $2,700 personal limit.

That’s a stretch of the most extreme kind, but far be it from us to dispute McCarthy’s legal analysis, which is substantial, or his opinion regarding an impending indictment, which is believable when you consider that the Mueller probe has always been about one thing, and that is ‘getting Donald Trump.’

Nowhere in the constitution does it say the president cannot be indicted.

Oh there is no doubt that under them life will be the most horrific ever.

We had an exit plan for Uruguay when we thought Hillary was coming...Brazil has an awesome new leader. Paraguay is gorgeous. Retirement is right around the corner.

“I’m doing the only thing I know to do; to PRAY for the Nation, our POTUS, for Pence and all the other aspects of our government”

So do we. Every day, many times. it’s discouraging that God isn’t answering our prayers the way we like. Could be He’s saying, “Wait”. Or saying, “Too late. America is so corrupt, I’m sending it the way of Sodom and Gomorrah.”

All of the idle threats of shooting something people make here only makes them feel better.

At this point the number of times we’ve heard the line for 10000 other “final straws”, only to find out that those people are just waiting for some other guy to be the Guinea pig, we know that it’s just bravado.

Spot on. It’s nothing but people venting. I have a friend who periodically says, “I don’t know how to start a revolution, but I know how to join one.”

He’s been saying this for over a decade.

“Vice President Pence is next.”

Nope. They would be fine with Pence. He’s a globalist amnesty type who wants Assad gone, supports a new cold war with Russia, thinks Snowden needs to be tried, etc.

He would be fine.

It’s not wrong to have a certain tolerance for venting, even when those doing it don’t understand that venting is all they are doing.

The average age of the signers of the Declaration of Independence was around 44, with many of them 35 or under.

FR is a place where retirement age or above predominate.

In the old days, we could run the editor out'a town, tarred and feathered and burn the newspaper building to the ground, but the "news" today is all electronic and remote.

A couple of days ago there was a thread asking for your "favorite" hated Christmas music.

Why would anyone reply to that thread except they were LISTENING to radio.

Here I am, anonymously behind a keyboard and for all practical reasons ... I might not even exist !

I'm an anti public school whack job and damned proud of it, because all of these adults we're complaining about started as little kids indoctrinated to hug trees, condemn their parents' smoking, buckle up and be afraid of everything.

You know I'm right.

Ever watch a glass of water come to a boil in the microwave? Ever notice how there are just one or tow bubbles at first? Remember John Brown was hanged for Treason. Then a few years later hundreds of thousands marched to war singing his name.

I have one too, and it IS heavy when fully-loaded. Better to have ‘em and not need ‘em, than to not have ‘em if you need ‘em.

I do not think things get violent until they come for our guns. However, we know this will occur at some point. We need to become organized into teams to take appropriate action against assigned targets once necessary.

Guns confiscation is coming, but it won’t be overnight. We’re not going to see hundreds of SWAT teams sweeping the nation to confiscate ARs.

Gun control at the federal level will mirror the approach we’ve seen at the state level. The Dems will at some point control both Houses and the WH. First, they’ll pass an “assault weapon” and “high” capacity magazine ban, similar to the previous one....but without an expiration date this time. You’ll be allowed to keep already owned weapons, but it will ban manufacture and transfers.

Just as when the 1994 AWB was passed, gun owners will grumble and gripe, but nothing more. After all, it won’t be as if they’re actually taking anything away (yet). Let things settle in for some years. Then, after an inevitable horrific mass shooting,, pass a mandatory “buy back” of the Australian model, giving something close to market value. Many gun owners will comply. Many will not. What they won’t do is go door to door for them, in spite of million of Americans becoming felons overnight.

As the years go by, one will regularly read of incidents where someone had an illegal gun or magazine in their car when being pulled over, or in their house during a domestic dispute call, resulting in felony charges getting tacked on (as is currently the case in a couple of states). As the years go by, some guns are surreptitiously passed down to family members. Many aren’t.

As the decades roll on, there remains a small, increasingly rare group of Americans with access to such weapons.

I very much hope I’m wrong , but this (or something similar) seems to me most likely scenario.

I don’t listen to the radio, but I hear Christmas songs every time I go shopping or to the grocery store these days. Many of them are indeed terrible.

A few hundred thousand people could at least start wearing MAGA hat to make a statement. Way too often the majority is silent so the crazies get their way.

Talk is cheap. Let’s start making a statement.

That and Trump need to realise the names and amounts of tax money payouts by Congress for hush money.

Are ya aware that weakens the spring to keep it compressed indefinitely?

I thought that constant compression doesn't wear out springs, but that repeated compression does.

Anyhow... I have tons of mags. :-)

If the deep state succeeds in pushing Trump out of office our Constitutional Republic will have been turned into a banana republic where governments change by coups and counter coups and elections will be a joke. The US will look like Nicaragua descending into a failed socialist state. The big difference is that thanks to our Second Amendment our population is armed and resistance is still possible. For the deep state to have absolute power they must disarm the people. To me it is no coincidence that attempts to disarm the population are already being made in liberal states. Bans on certain guns, bans on “large capacity clips”, forced registration of already legally owned guns and other clearly unconstitutional gun grabbing measures are being implemented in states and municipalities. These are likely planned to provoke a shooting incident that will lead to more stringent gun bans. The technique is no different than Hitler’s Reichstag fire which was used as a reason to end civil liberties to restore “order”. We are on the brink of a violent civil war if not an armed revolution.
