Special counsel Robert Mueller has accused Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign chairman, of lying about his contacts with administration officials in 2018 and at least four other details related to his probe of Russian election meddling during the 2016 campaign.
In a heavily redacted court document filed Friday afternoon, Mueller and his team of prosecutors accused Manafort of lying about his interactions with Konstantin Kilimnik, a longtime business associate whom the special counsel has identified as a former Russian intelligence officer.
Manafort, according to the special counsel's team also lied about money laundering, a wire-transfer to a firm that was working for him, "information pertinent to another department of Justice investigation," and his contact with administration officials.
Kilimnik was indicted alongside Manafort in June. He has not submitted a plea.
Early last week Manafort’s cooperation agreement fell apart when prosecutors in the Washington D.C. case accused Manafort of breaching his plea agreement by lying during interviews after agreeing to “broad” cooperation with the special counsel’s probe. The special counsel’s office asked the judge to proceed with scheduling a sentencing date.

Yeah, stuff like how we know he’s lying...intercepted emails etc.
If it was in any way out of the ordinary, alluded to Trump or somebody close to him, it would have leaked already.
How much is all of this costing the taxpayer. . .and more importantly we are being invaded by criminals and disease . . . where is the outrage on that. Woe to America . . .we need to be about our Father’s business. . .that really is all that matters in life. He WILL direct our paths if we put our faith and trust in Him.
Or as a liberal would put it, "How does all this help to feed a hungry child?"
Judging by Trumps tweets today, he is expecting mueller’s final report very soon. It looks bad but Trump is obviously not going to take it laying down.

Ask yourself if an intimate associate of the Clinton’s faced with a similar situation before a prosecutor would be allowed to “correct the record”. Of course they would. But not in this situation. Mueller, the Media and the DNC want their scalp.

Manafort was caught in a perjury trap. Derchowicz talked about this a few days ago. NEVER give a defining answer lest some challenging evidence is produced and a charge of perjury is detetmined. Not recalling details is a far safer response and leaves ones legal team with some wiggle room.
This is just the Communist Party making Repubs against their dictatorial laws.

I can’t figure out if Mueller is just trying to save face at this point or if he is still squeezing lemons.

Mueller is working for the Democrats, providing them fodder for impeachment hearings. That’s his “mission”. Get something, anything, on Trump and craft a report that suggests malfeasance and/or collusion. The Dem controlled House and their allies in the media will take it from there.
Trump had better declassify and release the FISA docs and ALL OTHER relevant material that exposes Democrat criminality, treason and lying. Its his ace in the hole. He’s going to need it.
I think even Pelosi would realize that losing an impeachment hearing, like Newt did, would mean her head. I suspect this is campaign fodder ... but no one would be more happy than me if they put the country through an impeachment hearing based on the testimony of three admitted liars.
They have lost a lot of credibility.
One difference is that Pelosi has the full and complete backing of the media whereas Newt did not. The media will celebrate everything she does and bury any negative news like it always does for Democrats.
We need an AG who refuses to release the garbage impeachment report produced by Mueller but they’ll leak it anyway I suppose.
So what if Manafort lied? All this amounts to is Mulehead STILL has nuthin’ and if he now claims Manafort5 is lying, then anything Manafort “confesses” to will be meaningless. Besides, Manafort knows he’ll get a federal pardon from Trump when the time is right.
