Dershowitz: How Can Rosenstein 'Be In Charge of Trump Investigation and Main Witness'?
Alan Dershowitz commented Monday on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein after President Trump told Chris Wallace he is answering written questions from Special Counsel Bob Mueller.
Dershowitz said Rosenstein presents a "striking example of bias" in one way by "still being in charge of the investigation."
After former Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russia probe, Rosenstein became the de facto leader who controls Mueller. However, with the acting-appointment of Matt Whitaker, that role moves to his purview.
Dershowitz said that any allegation by Mueller of obstruction of justice can be met with the defense that Rosenstein likely sanctioned whatever action is in question.
"How can you both be in charge of the investigation and the main witness for the defense?" Dershowitz asked.
He said that Mueller and his team will go through Trump's written answers "with a fine toothed comb" -- looking for a "perjury trap."

He is not only the witness for the defense wrt firing of Comey, he is also a material witness or conspirator wrt the FISA court applications to wiretap the Trump campaign team.
If they find a perjury trap, its impeachment.

Rosenstein is a dirty cop. He Always has been. That is why the left wants him in power.
And what the democrats did to Trump by fabricating the entire Russia-Gate. The way they used the FBI and the DOJ,FISA and every other part of government to set this fraud up. If that does not ever come to light(and justice) then President Trump will have failed in a way so intense that nothing else Trump has done will matter in the end.
Because anything good that Trump does will be undone as soon as Trump is gone. It will be undone by the very same people who should be sitting in prison right now.

It must be awful for Dershowitz to be so conflicted. He starts every interview with
“You know, I voted for Hillary!” Then he proceeds to tear holes in her belief system. It’s going to be interesting to see where he ends up, a political hack or a constitutional lawyer. He can’t be both!

Instead, IF there is a plan, then it has to proceed so that more and more people realize the DOJ/FBI/CIA/NSA.... are corrupt organizations that must be cleaned out and public officials/law officer must be prosecuted with serious jail terms.

Well, as far as enlightening the RATS and the “near brain dead fools”...we aren’t making much headway at all in two years...in fact, we’ve made NO headway at all. So if there is a plan, it’s going to have to work in the next 2 to 6 years much better than it has worked to date. They are more hardened in their views than ever. Don’t look at our news media or social media to report the truth to the masses...that will never happen, they are very well paid to do the opposite.
In truth, you are not likely at all to ever change anyone’s mind. And regardless of what evidence is eventually released, it will not turn people from their side or their point of view. Evidence can be argued around, no matter how strong it is...look what Johnny Cochran did for OJ, and he was nabbed dead to rights. Just start shouting racism, and everything blows up.
Changing hearts and minds is the work of generations, not the work of one or two terms in office. You need to start at the beginning. Get control of the means of communication and the education system, then in 50 years you might get somewhere.
