The White House has restored the press credentials of CNN's chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta, and as a result, CNN will drop its lawsuit against the Trump administration, the network announced.
A White House official tells CBS News' Fin Gomez the White House will not attempt to revoke Acosta's credentials again over the Nov. 7 exchange between the president and Acosta.
"Today the @WhiteHouse fully restored @Acosta's press pass. As a result, our lawsuit is no longer necessary. We look forward to continuing to cover the White House," CNN tweeted.

how long before acosta tinkles in front of the wh press room cameras again
what an attention whore lol
They DO NOT want to go to court...
they would have lost.
Remember what the judge said.....The President does not have to call on him......ever.
Has anyone see the new rules they have to operate under?
They went to court already. He lost more than he gained.
Please, please let the new rules mean that in order to have control of the mike the reporter has to wear donkey’s ears.
How much more power of the presidency can be surrendered to the out of control courts before it becomes irrelevant? /rhet
Revoke all the credentials and shut down the press office. If the other networks want to know what the administration is doing then they can watch the President on Hannity or Fox and Friends.
“The President does not have to call on him......ever.”
Yup. He cant yell NOR physically grab a woman staffer either due to the new rules..
Just one rule needed for Acosta.
Guarantee he will break it.
RULES
1 - Attendees must conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
2. - See rule 1.
Too bad for Us. So what are the New Rules?
This is gonna be fun, little Jimmy has been neutered but we can bet he’ll be trying to push the envelope.
and gives the Interns Stun Guns
This so-called news article says that there are three rules, then paraphrases two of them. An actual news article would list all three exactly as written. The shouting of questions at the President has not been addressed at all, nor interrupting POTUS as he answers. I hope that this is not another wasted opportunity.
And pepper spray.
Just end the session if Acosta or anyone else gets out of line. NO SOUP FOR YOU! Let his colleagues get tired of his antics.
New rules are:
1) If called on the journ-o-list only gets to ask one question and then must yield the floor.
2) At the discretion of POTUS or other briefer the journ-o-list may be allowed ONE follow-up question, after which they must yield the floor.
3) The definition of “yield the floor” includes physical surrender of the microphone.
4) Failure to follow the above may lead to suspension or permanent revocation of the hard pass.
