Republicans Deploy Grassroots Army to Defy History, Hold House Majority in November
Breitbart ^ | 1 October 2018 | Sean Moran

MOUNT LAUREL, New Jersey–The Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), a leading Republican super PAC, continues to lead the charge to deploy the Republican grassroots to defy history and hold the House Republican majority, as seen by their efforts in New Jersey’s third congressional district and documented by Breitbart News.

The Congressional Leadership Fund, the super PAC endorsed by the House Republican leadership, announced on Saturday that they held their fourth “Super Saturday” to reach a record number of Republican voters across the nation. CLF is using its 40 field offices to engage with over 500,000 targeted voters in key congressional districts needed to hold the Republican majority.

Compared to other super PACs, CLF has decided to build its grassroots army, rather than use most of its money solely on television and digital ads. Not only are CLF’s grassroots efforts building up Republican voter engagement, but they are also building up a Republican network which it can use for future elections beyond the 2018 midterms.

The CLF is empowering its 5,500 grassroots volunteers to engage in door-to-door canvassing and phone banking and to build a Republican grassroots army across the nation.

Corry Bliss, the CLF executive director, said in a statement on Saturday, “In February of 2017, CLF launched a hyper-targeted and data-driven field program that has grown to 40 field offices nationwide and resulted in over 24 million voter contacts to date.”

“With less than 40 days until Election Day, CLF is hosting its fourth Super Saturday, contacting 500,000 targeted voters in key congressional districts to inform them how their member of Congress is working for them,” Bliss added. “CLF’s unprecedented field program has proven to be a major factor this election cycle, and we will continue to increase our efforts as Election Day nears.”

Oh, anger is not the right word. It’s friggin’ RAGE that I feel after what has been going on. And it’s getting dragged out...delay...delay...dealy... I can’t hardly check out the news on my computer any longer. I am so beyond friggin’ pissed off. Honestly. We all are going to march and pull those levers, I’ll tell you what.

And it’s not just the Kavanaugh confirmation, by any means.

What happened to Rudy’s claim that “The Russia probe should be drawing to a close in a couple of weeks” - a couple of months ago? Mueller is STILL out there, hoping to find something - anything - and no one is doing ANYTHING to close the book on this nonsense.

What happened to “build the wall”? No, repairing four miles of wall out of four thousand isn’t “building the wall” - not by a long shot. What happened to Trump’s promise not to sign another spending bill that didn’t fund it? He forgot about it - that’s what. And we still don’t have a wall.

What happened to “declassify the FICA warrant” so that we could all see what’s really behind the seditious attempt to remove a sitting President by corrupt, democrat slime implanted in our “justice” system? Trump declassified it. The FBI said “oh, no - please don’t do that,” so he turned it over to an independent counsel somewhere and said he wanted it examined quickly. That was now weeks ago. I guess we’re supposed to have forgotten by now.

And what happened to the independent counsel who’s trying to get to the bottom of the FBI corruption? You know, the one Jeff Sessions crawled out from under his desk for five minutes to authorize? Crickets. But I’m sure they’re working on it real, real hard. We’ll know sometime in 2029 - if they feel we should.

What happened to “lock her up”? Every now and then we read little nuggets on how the Clinton investigation (or investigation of the Clinton Foundation) is back on. Yeah, sure. That a dollar will get me 100 cents. Nothing ever happens, and the walking tablecloth from hell obviously isn’t concerned about it at all.

If the Republican base cannot get motivated after seeing the Kavanaugh political assassination, then nothing will motivate them. But the stakes are much bigger than just a Supreme Court nomination. Working Americans can now see the clear contrast on health care, border security, crime, respect for local law enforcement, the need to clear out the corruption in the national security agencies, taxes, the military, and support for key American industries (steel, coal,,manufacturing, oil, gas, etc.).

The choice is clear: build on the success generated by President Trump, or surrender the national to a gang of hateful, rabid socialists.

I can’t wait to vote! I’ll early vote again this fall and it can’t come soon enough. The Dems I know are all keeping very, very quiet. Well the sane Dems anyway. The insane ones are getting more and more outrageous every day. I really do think that the sane ones, while they can’t pull the lever for a Republican, will not vote for the Dem candidate. I have a cousin who is a diehard liberal democrat that actually worked for Stabenow and he hasn’t said a single word, which for him is highly unusual.

That’s average of 110 per state, probably less workers in tiny states like RI, more in giant states like Texas.

But this needs to become a permanent institution, until these low-lifes quit, or hell freezes over, whichever comes first.

I’m in Israel, and have registered to vote by absentee ballot. We need an organization here, too, to make sure every overseas American votes in each country where they’re overseas.

I’ll vote, but I live in a congressional district where the incumbent GOP rep is running virtually unopposed. There are no significant state elections, so I’ll have to go further down the ballot to local races.

Next significant race for my area is the 2019 Governor’s race in Kentucky. The media in the two largest cities, Louisville and Lexington, routinely trash Gov Matt Bevin. Although Kentucky is generally a reliable red state, we do have the tendency to place democrats in the state house for some reason.

“....You mean the gop-e actually wants to win in November????....”

GOPe = RAT = UniParty = Deep State = Communists
So, yes. They want to win badly in order to gain the political power back to rule over the “unwashed masses” as they have done before. The “unwashed masses” are their cash cows. They milk us of trillions of dollars every year to fund their insane liberal plans....then along came Trump.
Yeah, they want to win.

Believe it or not, yes they do.

Majority = Power.

That’s what they REALLY care about.

Well, there were 63 million of us that showed up to vote for President Trump, and he’s done nothing but garner new supporters since 2016, so this SHOULD be easy-peasy!

Let’s not blow it! Vote accordingly! MAGA! :)

I’m all for this and obviously will vote straight ticket R this cycle, as I do every cycle.

But it would be really nice if the Republicans would refrain from having to dig themselves out of holes.

In the final weeks of the 2016 presidential election, I worked as a Field Organizer for a Texas political consulting firm. My operating area was not in Texas, rather the Tampa-St.Petersburg area. The company was hired directly by the national GOP to WIN Florida for Trump. I directed my operation from my kitchen table via text and email.

At my fingertips, I had about 120 paid canvassers and volunteers that I was directing in the field to knock on nearly 80,000 doors in just 12 days. Collectively, we knocked on more than 500,000 doors in Florida in the span of two weeks. Other companies had other swing states.

It is my belief that it was only because the national GOP got off their collective asses and spent the money did Trump win Florida.

They can do the same in 2018 too because they have the voter databases from 2016.

I’m optimistic that they can do this.

I’m in Arizona, who do I contact to volunteer? The state Republican party? I want to help, but never have participated in a get out the vote ground campaign. Thanks.

I agree, I’ve been nervous for months about the grassroots being disengaged and uninterested compared to the NeverTrump Resistance nutcases. The RNC seemed to have clay feet.

This hearing threw a hand grenade at the grassroots.

Compared to other super PACs, CLF has decided to build its grassroots army, rather than use most of its money solely on television and digital ads.

Hope that's true across the country. TV and digital ads are a waste pf money if you're targeting someone like me. I either, mute, change the channel, or turn the TV off as soon as a political ad comes on and I throw away every single piece of junk mail I receive without reading any of it. It's not uncommon to get 5-10 pieces a day, every day. Sometimes for the same candidate.

However, if someone wants to talk to me...I'm ok with that.

Trump and 2016 showed how important our votes are - the nation was pulled back from the precipice.

But the Kavanaugh hearings showed us just his quickly the Democrat Party will take it right back there, and right over the edge into socialism.

No one should need more motivation to vote than the image of Nancy Pelosi back in the Chair of Omamacare!
