Sen. Lisa Murkwoski (R-AK) told reporters Friday that she agrees with fellow moderate Republican Sen. Jeff Flake (AZ) in his call for an FBI investigation that would delay the Senate floor vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination for up to one week.
Murkowski believes there should be an investigation that is “limited in time and scope.”

During the Senate Judiciary Committee vote to move Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the full Senate, Sen. Flake insisted that he did not think they should have a full vote on Kavanaugh until there has been a week-long FBI investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh.
The committee did vote 11-10 to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
As a moderate Republican, Sen. Murkowski was a key vote in the confirmation process.
Kavanaugh's confirmation will be determined by her and other key moderate senators such as Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Jeff Flake.
Judge Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford both gave emotional testimonies Thursday on allegations that he groped her and pinned her down while he was drunk at a party in high school.
Kavanaugh fully denies her allegations and the witnesses she initially claimed were present have denied that such an event occurred.
We have no patience and have been on a Roller Coast of emotion. But need to stay positive.
Correction: A week delay is 5+ bimbos paid liars with uncorroborated allegations.
I hope you are right, but it ain’t over till its over and the Senate voted. This has been the must sickening process I have ever seen and only when the Dems are defeated over and over will it end.
I never left America, it left me and I hope thru elections and working campaigns as it is ballots not bullets at this point, America comes back to me.

Exactly! And let's not forget that this latest one regarding a string of gang-rape "parties" of drugged, minor girls would be major felonies, no statute of limitations, charges against multiple people - including the accuser who admitted she went to TEN of them.
These dirty tricks are but a taste of the filthy plans these slimeballs are making.
I agree. I think the perfect response yesterday by Kavanaugh to the call for an investigation would have been-“OK, I’ll make a deal. I’ll ask for an investigation if all of you promise to apologize to me and my family on National TV when it comes back the way we say it’s coming back. Deal? And to YOU, Senator Booker, I want you to look the American people in the eye and apologize to me for calling me evil. Do we have a deal?” The only way to beat these guys is to call their bluff. You have to know, and that they don’t really want an investigation. They want a talking point. I would have called their bluff. A week is nothing. Show America who they are.

What about the Supreme Court's new session starting this coming Monday (10/1)? Will Kennedy remain until his replacement is confirmed or will the court be short handed?

His seat remains vacant until his replacement is confirmed.
Neil Gorsuch was confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court in April 2017 and was hearing cases less than TWO WEEKS later.
So they both ignored the facts, facts that could not be disputed, and made a political move.
They are both low in intellectual prowess and high in the culture of lying.
I’m starting to feel like us conservatives and Trump supporters are in a prison with a psycho gang that’s always threatening violence and always screaming at you that “we’re gonna get ya!!! We’re GONNA GET YA!!!”
And the threat goes on and on and on 24/7, and we can never get away from it or them.
It is indeed exhausting.
Since there is a delay, the FBI needs to investigate Ford too.
But how will they explain the initial rejection of the FBI to investigate this charge to DiFi? Has anything changed other than NOBODY can corroborate Ford's testimony or the fact that these new allegations are just as evidence free?
