D.C. Restaurant’s Yelp Page Under Attack After Ted Cruz Is Chased Out By Protesters

After a brief lull, the hot summertime trend of protesting politicians over dinner is back in full force. Last night, a group of protesters tracked down Senator Ted Cruz and his wife at an Italian spot in D.C. and confronted him over Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court until the senator was forced to leave.

The restaurant in question has been identified as Fiola, an exceedingly pricey restaurant, which Washington Post restaurant critic Tom Sietsema has called “the most glamorous place in the city to twirl pasta.” But conservatives and supporters of Senator Cruz don’t feel the same way apparently, and have taken to Fiola’s Yelp page to voice their displeasure with a string of one-star reviews.

I agree. The restaurant management made a conscious decision to forego their clientele’s comfort and safety.

Lawsuit time. Even though no direct physical harm to Cruz and his wife, the frightening actions of the protestors and inaction by management caused emotional trauma to Cruz and his wife.

You can bet someone at the restaurant contacted their Antifa ass clowns to let them know Cruz and his wife are having dinner, otherwise how did they know where exactly to show up

I understand your opinion, but have you ever been suddenly surrounded by radicals who have no limits on their actions?
I have not had that experience. I would suspect the first reflex would be for me and my wife ‘to survive’ whatever the next hour was to bring our way.
It would be deeply satisfying to go all Charles Bronson on those Socialists, Oh Yes. Maybe he didn’t want to put Mrs. Cruz or the girls in even more danger. People in that area already know where the Cruz’s live.

Ted may have thought this was a set up from Beto’s Team to try catching Ted hitting somebody over the head with a chair, or perhaps, a picture of Ted brandishing a gun. The whole country knows how much the Dems believe in the power of Theater and Chaos. Just look at the Brett Kavanagh farce.

This is cr*p. Restaurants don't have much control over preventing theses events.If management and staff attempt to expel intruders physically there is a real chance of law suit. Call the police and try and capture the action on camera while having the largest staff members body guard the guests being harassed and help them out the back if they want to leave with body guards going with them to their car.I know ‘good restuarants’ in bad areas of sh*thole cities such as St Louis or Cleveland will keep their doors locked and only admit customers after eyeballing them, That is likely to really knock down receipts at this sort of restaurant.

Seems more likely the protesters were notified of their presence by someone on the staff at the restaurant.

That’s my thoughts. I’d have made sure my family was gone and then made sure the law drug every one of them off for disturbing the peace OR I would have engaged them in meaningful discussion. I know he’s smarter than them. Of course, you can’t really debate animals.
