U.S. President Donald Trump will fail in his confrontation with Iran, just like Iraq's Saddam Hussein, Iranian President Hassan Rohani said on Saturday, referring to the war between the two Middle Eastern powers and vowing that Tehran will not abandon its missiles.
Tensions have ramped up between Iran and the United States after Trump withdrew from a landmark multilateral nuclear deal in May and reimposed sanctions on the Islamic Republic last month.

Interestingly, Turkey is strengthening their relationship with Iran and Erdogan has stated that eventually there would be a war between, the Crescent and the Cross.
Very confident men, these two. However, both have citizens that want no part of the Islamic, theocratic fundamentalism. Most of them want to live their lives, have a few drinks, and be members of modern society.
The Iranians are weary of their theocratic rule. They weren’t like that until the Shah was forced out during the Carter administration and the ushering in of terrorism, as we know it, and radical fundamentalism. Of course, they’re all hypocrites. The wealthy send their kids to Europe and the US to go to school and party, while the people eat dirt.
He sure is sounding moderate, that Rouhani.
