If roles were reversed and Trump were on his deathbed, McCain wouldn’t even be respectful enough to remain silent.
What is he supposed to say? I’m sure they already have a nice statement written and ready to go for when McCain passes.
I expect at least one more announcement from McCain, either before he dies or made public afterwards, slamming Trump.
My house is silent too. I choose to say nothing at all.
After McCain participated in passing along the “dossier” to help Hillary Clinton, I lost all respect for him. Sorry he’s dying, as I’d be sorry for anyone but he has lost all right to be mentioned or even acknowledged by the President of the United States because of his own actions that he will have to atone for when he meets the almighty.
If Trump says something, he is attacked for “politicizing” a situation or his words are distorted and misrepresented. When he says nothing, he is attacked, including by aol that is bemoaning that he remained silent.
If Pres Trump comments before McCain is dead the media will holler IMPEACH because blah blah blah. Time enough for an official response when the occasion arises. Silence from DJT is respectful at this time.

I’ve maintained all along that Sen McCain won’t need a eulogist but rather an exorcist. Then again, that’s just me.
