Former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman said President Trump's mental decline "could not be denied" while he appeared for an interview with NBC News's Lester Holt in 2017, according to an excerpt in her new book obtained by The Daily Mail.
"'While watching the interview I realized that something real and serious was going on in Donald's brain," she writes in "Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House," which is set to be released on Aug. 14.
"His mental decline could not be denied.'"
Manigault-Newman added that "many didn't notice it as keenly as I did because I knew him way back when. They thought Trump was being Trump, off the cuff. But I knew something wasn't right." Her comments were published by the Daily Mail over a year after Trump sat down with Holt for an interview that quickly grabbed Washington's attention. Among other things, Trump said that “regardless of recommendation" he was going to fire former FBI Director James Comey.
The White House had previously claimed that a Justice Department recommendation had led to the FBI chief's ouster.
In her book, Manigault-Newman writes that "throughout this erratic and contradictory interview, I kept thinking, 'Oh no! Oh no! This is bad!'"

Sure Trump rambles but that’s Trump being Trump. I’ve known VP’s like that. Not unusual at all. But Trump is quite focused, disciplined and on a mission to get ‘er done ... and he is NOT out trying to sell a book like this schmuck.

Besides, anytime I have seen her, she has come across as a mental midget to me. How does she have any room to talk about anyone else? Ah, of course. She is writing a book, and she is attacking Trump, that's why.
I've dealt with guys like President Trump before, and I think a little like he does.
I wouldn't put it past him to have a side deal with "former loyalist" Omarosa to throw the equivalent of large flash-bangs into the enemy camp to get them to "do something".
I'm just sayin' - I might do the same thing. In fact, it would be my first inclination, since they swallow the hook to their large intestine EVERY SINGLE TIME.
If I was a whoreporter, I'd be walking forward VERY slowly on this, just to make sure it wasn't a Trump minefield or ambush.
Consider the source. I knew she was going to be trouble when the president made her part of his team.

This personal insight by Amrarosa is clear evidence that:
A. Trump was wrong to hire her in the first place?
B. Trump finally came to his senses?
C. Amarosa is an unstable trouble-maker, and had to be let go.
D. All the above, and be sure to have a restraining order in place.

I think on Apprentice he liked her never backing down from a fight. But, big mistake in judgment, to hire her for Whitehouse. Her ego would make her very risky...proof of the pudding in current book.
Yeah, probably like a step down transformer. President Trump operates at 220 volts, but to communicate with some people, he needs a step down transformer to reduce it to 9 volts.

If not mental decline then what is the excuse for Trump Derangement Syndrome by the left?
