Good article. Pretty well explains the kind of man Sessions is.

We all know good people who find somewhere else to be when a fight is brewing. Perhaps Mr sessions would be a better fit as an ambassador to Switzerland.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/06/interesting-development-the-trump-campaign-foreign-policy-experts-now-under-investigation-were-brought-in-under-ag-jeff-sessions/

The Daily Caller reported that both Carter Page and George Papadopoulos were hired by Sam Clovis, the Trump campaign’s co-chairman, but the source of this information remains anonymous. It is more likely that Jeff Sessions was responsible for hiring both Page and Papadopoulos for the Trump campaign because they reported to him.

It’s curious that the only person on the Trump team that recused himself from the Russia farce (Sessions) is also the person who was the Chairman of candidate Trump’s National Security Advisory Counsel which includes the most notorious individuals on the Trump campaign team. Does Sessions know more than he has let on?

He doesn’t sound like a bare-knuckles fighter.

Perhaps he is better suited to a behind-the-scenes role, where he coordinates the actions of others without publicly confronting anyone. It might even appear that he is doing nothing, but meanwhile, through subtle, non-confrontational means, he carries out his appointed duties.

In a word, Jeff Sessions is a splendid man caught by circumstances in a job for which he is ill suited. For the good of all, he should be reassigned to a job for which he is more suitable.

Yep.

My friend Jeff is no bare-knuckles fighter. At this critical time, what we need for our attorney general is an ass-kicking George Patton; what we have is a soft-spoken Billy Graham.

DOJ is the political brain and nerve center of government. It should be obvious to everyone now - its political warfare, using the law. The President needs a true loyalist and ally. Joe Kennedy Sr. insisted JFK appoint his brother. Reagan had long-term friend Ed Meese. Obama had true fellow travelers (he even made sure they were black) Holder and Lynch. They lied, covered-up, and plotted for obama - they pushed Obama's radical agenda.

I don't know how Trump missed this obvious fact.

President Trump eviscerated Jeff Sessions the other day at the FEMA hurricane briefing. He brought his cabinet, the First Lady, and a roomful of aides and officials long with him.

He singled out each cabinet member and told them what a great job they were doing and listed some of their accomplishments. All except for Jeff Sessions, that is. Trump gave him a perfunctory “Thank you Jeff. Thank you very much”, then moved on.

It was like Trump arranged this gathering with the express purpose of humiliating Sessions.

See for yourself. The President begins speaking at 3m 15s =>

AG Sessions is actually a highly competent prosecutor who conducts investigations quietly without telegraphing his every move to the media. Which is exactly what anyone would want, it just offends the sensibilities of FReepers who thing they are entitled to know every detail in real time.

Think what you want, I could care less, as could Jeff Sessions. The truth will be known in the end and someone will look like a fool. It won’t be me.

Yep. This story is the legal description of a Weenie.

Still, to be a Weenie of this magnitude, maybe there is some fact out there about him that he really doesn’t want the entire world to know. That one evening he is most ashamed of in his life. Could be, as well. Lots of people have been on a meathook to keep stuff like thst private.

I guess it's time to make a comment about Sessions.

Knowing what we know now about the spying on the Trump campaign, it is very feasible that Sessions early endorsement of Trump was part of a deep state insurance policy of sorts. For months I've been saying that there's no way the deep state could have been THAT on top of things to plant someone that high, that early on but unfortunately it may be true. Yeah, I was hoping at first that there was really some 3D chess going on, but no—Sessions is the real thing—a true swamp dweller.

All of this campaign spying also makes you wonder if they had insurance plants in the other candidates campaigns like Jill Stein and Gary Johnson and other third parties. And heck, I imagine they had spies in the Mitt campaign too back in 2012.

scary

Geez, no mention by McInnish of Jeff Sessions being called the Silent Executioner.

I wonder if that nickname is Reddit BS?

AG Sessions himself does not have to be personally disagreeable - he has 93 ambitious US Attorneys at his disposal.

As he has clearly indicated in writing to his Congressional oversight, he has referred all their referrals, and more, to Senior Federal Prosecutors - all of whom had to be nominated by President Trump. AG Sessions stated that multiple Senior Federal Prosecutors (US Attorneys) offices are involved, and that US Attorney John Huber is leading, what is apparently a major Federal Task Force. Each Senior Federal Prosecutor heads a large office, typically including several hundred prosecutors and their staffs.

As we have just had demonstrated by the indictment of Senate leaker James Wolfe, at least one prosecutor (US Attorney Jessie Liu in DC) has been investigating at least one leak, since last year. In that case, a Grand Jury issued search warrants, that were executed not later than February, and the leaker had been surveilled prior to being confronted and forced to resign in December 2017. AG Sessions had stated that 27 leak investigations were underway.

The Attorney General does not have to be aggressive in temperament - he just needs to be honest. If he is, he will refer allegations to prosecutors, and not impede them. Every indication is that AG Sessions has done just that. The constitutionally established, Presidentially nominated and Congressionally confirmed US Attorneys are the ones who are responsible for bringing wrongdoers to justice.

The time required to complete such investigations and bring charges is just beginning to ripen.

The Storm is Coming!

Being qualified to be a Senator is equal to changing the urinal pucks in the private sector. You couldn’t pick a more useless group of do nothings if you tried.
