Good article. Pretty well explains the kind of man Sessions is.

It would have been helpful if you'd excerpted a portion of the article that was relevant to the title.

FR rules don't require you to begin excerpting from the top of an article.

“Gang of eight” Rubio? ha ha ha

I would take Jeff Sessions as Senator any day of the week over Rubio. Good grief.

AG Sessions is actually a highly competent prosecutor who conducts investigations quietly without telegraphing his every move to the media.

Per his recusal, Jeff Sessions is legally forbidden from investigating any crimes or deep state activities that tie back to the 2016 election, which nearly all of them do.

We are looking at the biggest conspiracy to commit treason in our nation's history, and we're saddled with an Attorney General who is legally barred from investigating those crimes and the perpetrators.

Worse still, he refuses to resign, so that someone else can assume the post, and do what needs doing.

By refusing to sh!t OR get off the pot, Sessions has made himself a de-facto co-conspirator in the coup attemp against President Trump.

Why, what’s the difference?

Neither have done anything, ever, and both are liars.

I guess you must think Marco is cuter than Jeff.

ha ha ha

I expect this ‘Sessions is Mr. McGoo’ narrative will take a big hit on Thursday.

Boy I cannot believe the President Trump is such a chump that he does all of the things he does while leaving a total toadstool in his garden of change

With the mountain of mental power present here on this thread the final conclusion is unavoidable - Donald Trump is not at all what he appears to be and as a leader and Jeff Sessions boss he is incapable of the astute and reasoned intelligence so clearly on display by all of the wise folks on this thread who obviously should be at worst his advisors or in some cases his replacement.

How could he our President leave such a festering boil, a member of the Coup in place so close to the seat of power seeking at every turn to dissuade and defeat the efforts of the Chief Executive of the US to restore law and order. It boggles my mind that such a congress of wisdom as is present on this thread should not be shared directly with him post haste to make sure he veers from this course lest he fall into a hole dug with his own hands.

I am sure at least one of the majestic minds here will in their spheres of influence be able to reach out to him and share that which he seems incapable or unwilling to see’ that his direct employee who reports only to him has a knife in his hand ready to plunge it into his heart and return the Deep State to it’s rightful status as the real leaders of this nation.

Amazing

So boys and girls, that about sums it up for me after reading yet another thread that ignores the pregnant question you ALL refuse to address..

He works for DJT only, so if he is not truly happy with what he is doing or not doing why is he still there

I am sure some of you Mensa members will joyfully and quickly respond with your usual brilliant insights to enlighten us all with far more than snarky comments..

Ans BTW if you were to actually research the recusal it prevents him from talking about ongoing investigations, not in conducting them. Yes, I have done so and it is public knowledge yet not mentioned, hence the silence on the massive amount of work underway that none of you seem to mention....

It is grossly unfair and impractical to take the first Senator to endorse President Trump’s campaign, and then task him with direct prosecution of President Trump’s avowed political enemies. Thankfully Sessions is precisely doing *not* what his predecessors did, so that, when the axe comes down on the deep state, it will be a strictly legal undertaking and result.

I am not at all surprised the investigations and results are taking time. I *am* surprised so many Freepers actually believe is a Deep State plant and a fool.

You make an admirable defense of Jeff Sessions, but the fact remains. He has purposely tied his own hands, and therefore cannot pursue the worst cabal of traitors in our nation’s history.

He has willfully neutered the office of Attorney General at a time when we most need an aggressive, well muscled, senior lawman to to root out the traitors and lock them up.

Worse yet, he refuses to withdraw his recusal OR resign. Any honorable man would have chosen one of those options by now, but no. Jeff Sessions would rather put his president and the nation at risk, and force his boss into the politically dangerous position of having to fire him.

Don’t kid yourself. The President would have fired Sessions long ago, if there weren’t a steep political risk for doing so.

You seem pretty sure of that, Windy. The Donald doesn't strike me as that kind of a pussy.
