Perhaps Rep. Louie Gohmert would be a better fit for the AG slot. Good old Texas boy who won’t back down from a fight. And make no mistake about it, he does know the Rule of Law.

Yep. This story is the legal description of a Weenie.

Still, to be a Weenie of this magnitude, maybe there is some fact out there about him that he really doesn’t want the entire world to know. That one evening he is most ashamed of in his life. Could be, as well. Lots of people have been on a meathook to keep stuff like thst private.

I am of essentially same opinion. He seems to be doing a good and careful job with immigration.

In a word, Jeff Sessions is a splendid man caught by circumstances in a job for which he is ill suited. For the good of all, he should be reassigned to a job for which he is more suitable.

Yep.

Dog groomer.

Think what you want, I could care less, as could Jeff Sessions.

You could care less??

Why don't you care less?

I have no real insight, but I will say this.
Every T most be crossed & I dotted, all evidence (and I mean all!) gathered to have any chance of getting a conviction of any of the Clinton Crime Machine. The minute even some of the minor characters are indicted the MSM will go into full time defense. Can you imagine the firestorm that would occur if Hellary finally had her day in court and was acquitted? The firestorm of her indictment & trial will be bad enough! I still wonder how a jury will be picked? I just wish we could run the clock out on her and she would just croak! I think there would be a much quieter acceptance of Slick being indicted and brought to trial. Hellary & “The Cult of the Vagina” breeds unbelievable madness in people!

Go Sessions! Kick the Deep State’s ass!

Kicking his own ass? That would be a sight to behold.

@ EEE...is Awan deep state? Lets see what Sessions does with him in the next few weeks, then we will get a idea on what hat he wears. Also when the IG report comes out with the recommended indictments, like McCabe from months ago, Sessions will either prove to be a Patriot, or deep state traitor scum.

I guess it's time to make a comment about Sessions.

Knowing what we know now about the spying on the Trump campaign, it is very feasible that Sessions early endorsement of Trump was part of a deep state insurance policy of sorts. For months I've been saying that there's no way the deep state could have been THAT on top of things to plant someone that high, that early on but unfortunately it may be true. Yeah, I was hoping at first that there was really some 3D chess going on, but no—Sessions is the real thing—a true swamp dweller.

All of this campaign spying also makes you wonder if they had insurance plants in the other candidates campaigns like Jill Stein and Gary Johnson and other third parties. And heck, I imagine they had spies in the Mitt campaign too back in 2012.

scary

Sorry. Sessions is a nice man. Was a good Senator.
Does not, nor will he ever have the skill sets necessary to clean up
DOJ.

Sessions was a good Senator if that means being in the club and not rocking the boat. The US Senate is really more like the Yale Club in NYC than a representative legislative body. It leaders have not advanced their constituencies since the Civil Way. Sessions included.

While I agree with what you say about Jeff, it still doesn’t change the fact that he is the wrong man for the job. Especially in the divisive climate of this country. He proves that he is not a man that can mount a fight for what is right. He had absolutely no reason to recuse himself except to avoid being in the cross-hairs along with President Trump.

Good and honest people that know they are not up to the job step aside to let someone else fight the fight! This evil swamp rat I truly believe is part of the insurance policy to bring Trump down! How else can you explain his MIA attitude? Even when Trump has called for his resignation a humble and good man would have offered it up instantly! Instead he is evilish stubbornly defiant against the president and the wishes of the American people for him to step down! He flipped off ALL of us!! GOOD? I think NOT!! EVIL SWAMPELF!!

Geez, no mention by McInnish of Jeff Sessions being called the Silent Executioner.

I wonder if that nickname is Reddit BS?

Judging him by his deeds or lack thereof. Major criminal politicians walking around free. I blame his boss more than him

Really? What did he accomplish?

What is the legacy of the “Honorable” Jeff Sessions, US Senator?

AG Sessions himself does not have to be personally disagreeable - he has 93 ambitious US Attorneys at his disposal.

As he has clearly indicated in writing to his Congressional oversight, he has referred all their referrals, and more, to Senior Federal Prosecutors - all of whom had to be nominated by President Trump. AG Sessions stated that multiple Senior Federal Prosecutors (US Attorneys) offices are involved, and that US Attorney John Huber is leading, what is apparently a major Federal Task Force. Each Senior Federal Prosecutor heads a large office, typically including several hundred prosecutors and their staffs.

As we have just had demonstrated by the indictment of Senate leaker James Wolfe, at least one prosecutor (US Attorney Jessie Liu in DC) has been investigating at least one leak, since last year. In that case, a Grand Jury issued search warrants, that were executed not later than February, and the leaker had been surveilled prior to being confronted and forced to resign in December 2017. AG Sessions had stated that 27 leak investigations were underway.

The Attorney General does not have to be aggressive in temperament - he just needs to be honest. If he is, he will refer allegations to prosecutors, and not impede them. Every indication is that AG Sessions has done just that. The constitutionally established, Presidentially nominated and Congressionally confirmed US Attorneys are the ones who are responsible for bringing wrongdoers to justice.

The time required to complete such investigations and bring charges is just beginning to ripen.

The Storm is Coming!

I think the author is correct to some extent. However, sessions can be aggressive when going after illegal aliens, ranchers, and pain doctors.

I think sessions paramount characteristic is that he is a hard core statist. He has always worked for the govt and believes that fellow govt employees can do no wrong. He was happy to be persuaded to recuse himself by 0bama holdovers at DOJ. And while he’d be happy to throw anyone of us in prison, he let lois lerner off the hook despite her obvious crimes. He is loathe to clean up the corruption at DOJ and FBI because in his bureaucratic mind, they can do no wrong. To him someone like rosenslime (nicknamed Frank Burns by the Maryland field office) is a man of integrity, despite the fact he was despised at his old job.

In response to the sessions sycophants and Q-lude poppers, he has not investigated squat. In the face of obvious corruption and extreme pressure by congress and POTUS he has tardily and reluctantly designated someone out in Utah to investigate, rather than appointing a 2nd special counsel. He continues to look the other way as rosenslime obstructs justice by withholding subpoenaed documents from congress and overseeing the muler farce despite obvious conflicts.

It is obvious that sessions does not have the confidence of his captain and benefactor. However, he cannot be fired due to his support from the Trump haters in congress. If he had the slightest shred of honor and integrity he would call a news conference and resign, taking rosenslime with him. The fact that he doesn’t tells you all you need to know about him.

That’s exactly what I mean. The backslapping, go along to get along
Senators Club does not require the same skill sets as an AG overseeing
the biggest scandal in American History.
