Anthony Bourdain, a gifted storyteller and writer who took CNN viewers around the world, has died. He was 61. CNN confirmed Bourdain's death on Friday and said the cause of death was suicide.

Popular culture has made victimhood the highest state of being, so then the ultimate gesture is to victimize ones self.
Now there’s a reason for all on this thread to rejoice, given the event. You can be unhappy with the event, and still like the results.

We used to be a Christian country but now, with the direct intervention of our government, Christianity is being made into something illegal that must be kept behind closed doors. The government will soon prosecute anybody who shows any glimmer of Christian faith outside of their homes.

All my ancestry I’m aware of are English French and Ulsterscots
Until I came here I never knew there were so called conservatives who hate the South and actually live to foment the sort of cultural degradation we are now experiencing about the South and traditional America by extension
I have countless dead confederate ancestry and make no apologies and will defend them here with vigor

I found Bourdains progressive virtue signaling off putting and when he went to Mississippi he was duplicitous and ugly to friends of mine at Luscos in Greenwood accusing them of 60 year old racism
He was a charictature of a Manhattan liberal but I watched a good bit with mute button in hand
That crazy woman musta put a spell on him
He just caught her apparently waivering with another man
He kills himself hence I get no joy from that
There are aspects of his life I was envious off, it’s just depressing

Well said, only the Lord knows what demons he was fighting inside him. My wife had a nephew who killed himself during a vicious custody battle. His own child found him.
The sadest part is that both Mrs. Spade and Mr. Bourdain left children behind. They are innocent victims and this will impact them for the rest of their lives.

It is easy to be magnanimous and "level-headed" when you think you are winning, but you see the real measure of a person when things don't go the way they have planned.

The posters were called out for advocating consideration of one type of Leftist yet obviously, not another.
