Could the CWs series about the bulletproof hero Supergirl really be dense enough to do another episode against guns? Not only is it that dumb, but the show takes the gun control rhetoric to a new super-dumb level in their hunt for a potential mass shooter.
The June 4 episode Not Kansas has a criminal getting his hands on what is described as a DEO assault rifle with capabilities equal to those issued to the secret government organization DEO. Since the gun was manufactured for government use, DEO head and secret alien Jonn Jonnz (David Heywood) and secret vigilante James Olsen (Mechad Brooks) investigate the gun manufacturer in an attempt to find the gunman who shot a police officer.

Jonn Jonzz ? Sounds like a euphemism for sploogie.
Well, he’s a green Martian, supposedly the last of his species (but they recently found his dad, in a white Martian prison on Mars), persecuted for being green (and yet, when he arrived on Earth, chose to be black, as he’s a shape-changer).
His Martian name is “J’onn J’onzz” (John Jones). However, he fought the former head of the DEO (Department of Extra-normal Operations), for planetary alien interdiction, if they are bad aliens, I guess.
He took over the identity of Hank Henshaw, and became the leader of the DEO after a fight in which Henshaw supposedly died (but didn’t, and later became Metallo, a bad guy).
/nobody stays dead in comic books, except Bruce Wayne’s parents, and Spiderman’s Uncle Ben.
Oh. I’ll stick to my soap operas. They like to bring back dead people, too.
Women aren’t responsible for defending anyone. They are free to shut up.
Yes. The actor George Reeves, didnt duck from the Blanks, But the thrown revolver would hurt. These early TV shows didnt worry about accuracy now didnthey.
Those are for when she begs.
Let’s see this turned into a show:
Bet it would be more popular than stooopidgurl.
It’s soap opera’s for boys. (not to say girls don’t watch, but boys was originally the target audience of the super hero comic books).
True except for every generation or two the story is retold and we get to see them die again. What is old is new again!
I would think that Laz would be all for it.... I mean it’s got “Shirtless” in it’s title and it’s about a co-ed “working” her way through school.
Super-Duper!
