Forget the polls and go out and vote in November. There are 9 demo_rat Senators that are in danger and ALL of them need to lose their jobs.

Maybe. Polls do not factor in voter FRAUD. Complacency is not an option. Campaign as if we are 10 points behind.

His two illegal, fraudulent birth certificates had no effect on his winning two elections. Why would you think a current investigation would be any different?

Well, maybe the thread of human decency has revealed itself to the American people. Well... maybe there is a bridge too far in the Mueller/Dem/Deep State assault on a duly elected President and the people are reflecting that sentiment in this poll.

It would be against the odds... but maybe.

The headline says “district where you live”. What district is this poll of?

Defeatism?

Better go check the record. I called the election for Trump coming straight up the upper Midwest in the summer of 2016.

And just as obvious as Trump winning 2016 and marching straight up the upper Midwest, it’s blindingly obvious that the GOP has no clue who the electorate is let alone how to talk to them.

The democrats have a huge enthusiasm gap, if you don’t see it you are blind, remember how you felt in 2010? That’s how they feel now.. look at Arizona special election for instance. Dems got beat presidential Year turnouts, while R only got midterm level turnout, the only reason the R won was because the district was just too red.

That’s not the case in a lot of districts. A lot of purple and pink districts will flip, because the republicans have no idea who the electorate is or how to remotely speak to them.. especially the non traditional MAGA/Trump voter.. and without them they will lose the house. I fully expect the Dems to pick up 10 or more seats in the upper Midwest alone.

The fall dynamic is for D’s it’s a referendum on Trump, for everyone else it’s just a midterm. The R’s messaging is the same old tired red meat that didn’t get the MAGA voters to vote R any time in the last 20 years, but somehow this time they will??? Don’t bet on it.

The ONLY way the R’s hold the house is if the election becomes a referendum on trum for everyone... in that case the R’s don’t just hold the house but likely gain 20 seats... however for this to happen it will almost certainly in spite of the R’s own incompetence by the D’s doing something to motivate the MAGA vote to turn out in spite of the R’s ineptitude.. which would be the D’s running openly on impeachment.

Without the non traditional MAGA and cross over voters Trump won in 2016 there is no way the R’s hold the house..

Not defeatism, just reality. The republicans are flat out incompetent

My worry:
gas prices up, people feeling pinched, stock market mysteriously drops with China and Soros ganging up to hurt Trump, swing voters feel depressed again and want some sort of “change.”

Let’s hope not.

“the GOP has no clue who the electorate is let alone how to talk to them.”

And you think the disjointed, hyper-leftist, crazy commie rats know how to talk to the electorate?

That’s nuts. You’re up to your eyeballs in defeatism.

And you are up to your eyeballs in denial.

The Dems don’t need to go outside their base. Their base is rabid and motivated and going to show up at near presidential Year numbers... and if you think otherwise you are kidding yourself... and if you think if they do, that a lot of purple and pink districts aren’t going blue, you are just bad at basic mathematics.

The falll election as it stands right now, republicans gain 6+ senate seats and lose the house.

That’s not defeatism, that’s not having blinders on and denying the reality of the situation.

Republican establishment has refused to learn the lessons of Trump’s election and heading to a loss of the house this fall because of it.

“Trump supporters cannot afford to sit on their hands on Election Day.”

No, we CANNOT! HOWEVER - I think MILLIONS of Americans SEE what is at stake...and Conservatives, Libertarians, Independents and those ‘Rats on the fence WILL turn out...and vote for Republicans in SPITE of themselves.

And those B@stards had BETTER not forget it, either!
(Though, they will.)

Get On The Trump Train or Get Off the Tracks! MAGA!

Yep. So much can happen in 5 months either way, but I’m hopeful we can maintain our majorities (even if it’s slim).

I agree with post 1 that it might not really be that big but clearly the rat lead has evaporated.

I think more people are employed and feel more secure and hopeful for their futures. I also think the stuff filtering out about the Democrats is sinking in.

The blue wave is dead.

Yep - and per another article, the Dems are tying themselves to the same investigation (their "new way" to drain the swamp) as their mid-term plan of attack....they seem to have missed that the longer it goes on, the higher Trump polls and the lower Dems poll.....sweet!
